The general flow of this roleplay is that you are a teenager, living with your mom. Your dad apparently died before you were born, and all you know about him was that he was an inventor. On your 18th birthday, a large crate is found on your front porch. Upon opening it, you find what looks to be like a boy, not moving. Next to him, there is a box wrapped in newspaper, with a simple note attached to it. "Happy Birthday -Your Name Here-, Dad."
