[OOC] I'm new and I'd like a few tips that aren't covered in the rules thread.

I really wanna be serious with my roleplays so if anything is looked down upon that isn't in the rules thread then please tell me in this; I'm really a fair-game listener when it comes to the rules. Also since I'm new the fandom I'm a bit iffy on some of the topics. I've roleplayed in other fandoms but I'm kinda nervous when it comes to this site at the moment.

Well, I'm sure with a few RPs under your belt you can handle yourself easily out here in the RP section. The only main thing I can tell you that you should take note to is where to post things.

You might want to throw out a character sheet in the Character Sheet with your OCs and some descriptions of them. If you're planning on starting an RP in the forums, it would be wise to post a Interest Check here. If you feel it has enough interest, throw it here, or here if it's a non-pony RP.

Chat RP is usually spontaneous so be in there or be square.

We do offer dice based rps, the most prominent being EPRP. Feel free to inquire more about that from the players and GMs.

Topics can be about whatever you want, though within rules. If you'd like to see how people RP or who seems like what the most, feel free to lurk and look around few of the RP threads.

Actually I've been roleplaying with other fandoms for about a year now. A year this Friday actually-

I'll look into that, I appreciate it.
