Dark Shine woke up in the morning to find a note on the door of his cloud. At first he thought it was odd, then he saw why, and smiled. There was a party in Trottingham tommorrow and he had tickets. The note says: Dear Dark Shine, You are hereby invited to the party of the winds in Trottingham. The Wonderbolts will be making an appearance. This is a very VIP invitation and as such you may if you wish, enter the VIP section. This ticket was asked for by Rainbow Dash. 'Well, thats nice of Rainbow!' Thought Dark. Orangebolt would have been sent a similiar note. Dark Shine got out of his house, and began his flight. Within a few minutes he would be there at the speed he was going.
Orangebolt was in his house still asleep, snoring when his alarm clock woke him up. He made himself some coffee and breakfast then went to check the mail "What's this? He picked a note out of the mailbox. "Oh my gosh, I gotta get going!" Orangebolt rushed back into his house and put on his uniform. He flew out the window at high-speeds and flew towards Trottingham
After a few minutes Dark Shine had arrived at the center of Trottingham. For a seemingly big event it was very barren, with barely anypony in the streets.
Orange shot by Dark without noticing him. He didn't see anyone but a few vendors selling various merchandise. He checked the invite again and landed. "It says it's at the top of Trottingham Tower..." He started flying up the base of the tower.
Dark Shine looked at first, the pony which zoomed past him, then to the tower. "Looks like somepony at least is going to the party." Before thinking Dark Shine was zooming himself, overtaking the pony who zoomed past, and entering the tower from the top.
When Orange reached the top, sure enough it was a total party up there. All the pegasi were showing their flying skills. The Earth ponies were selling various goods. Unicorns were show-casing various magic. Everypony else was just having a good time. Orange found the VIP area and walked in to find the rest of The Wonderbolts and various other ponies
Dark Shine went in to the VIP section, suprised to see the Pony from before beat him here. Oh well. He decided to say hi. "Hello there! My name is Dark Shine. Nice to meet you."
Well, I'm a Rookie on the Wonderbolts. I'm not preforming with them this year due to some complications so I planned to stay home. Then I got a VIP invite from a pony named "Rainbow Dash"
Orangebolt met up with the rest of the team and found a blue pegasus with a rainbow colored mane. "You must be Rainbow Dash. I'm Oran-" Orange was cut off by the blue pegasus "Orangebolt! Omygosh Omygosh Omygosh" " I presume your a huge fan of us?" Orange asked "Huge?! That isn't even the start of it." Rainbow Dash replied.
"I'll Make you a deal Dash. How about a race?" "HA! A race are you kidding?" Soarin Backed up as Spitfire Face hoofed. "Yeah a race. Too Sweet Apple Acres and back. Deal?" "Deal!" Said Dash
"3, 2, 1 go!" Both ponies shot off the top of the tower at high speeds and started flying towards SSA. "She's faster than I thought." Orangebolt sped up Suddenly, a huge explosion happened and Rainbow Dash sped by easily. "A SONIC RAINBOOM?! Come on! (5 minutes later) Orangebolt had just finished 3 minutes after Rainbow Dash
Orangebolt still couldn't believe that some random pony pulled off a sonic rainboom. Then he remembered her. She won the best young flier competition the year before him. She wielded the element of loyalty. "That explains alot then."
