Hey there bronies! Another new guy on the forum. I'll start of with a little story/introduction thingy. It's late so excuse my grammar, it may be a bit off. So anyway, I heard about this brony trend a few months ago, I think it was on the "Teens react" show on Youtube. I probably wasn't paying attention so I didn't really understand what it was all about. I found it a bit odd to be perfectly honest with you. I read the comments and noticed a lot of people finding it stupid and insulting the bronies with all sorts of profanity and words describing a specific sexual preference so I decided to leave it at that and not go into it any futher. Up until recently I clicked on a Youtube advertisement that was in my suggested videos list and that brought me to another youtube video. And what do you know: It was a my little pony video, but not from the official show but a fan animated one. I was very intrigued and decided to do some research. The research I did had me hooked and I was amazed at how awesome all the fan art and over all style of my little pony was. Now, a few days later I said I'll do it. I'll watch one episode and be done with it. I was mistaken... The first episode of my little pony: friendship is magic, blew me away. I was so suprised to see a well animated, pretty looking show that was also kinda cute. There's very clever writing and there was vey suprisingly a good sense of humor and I found it more mature than I thought it would be (although it is pretty "childish" and "girly") but that doesn't stop it from being what it is: a well written, nicely animated animated show, with a good sense of humor and art style and a sort of: "the moral of this story is" ending to each episode. I watched all the way through to episode 10 (of season one) and have decided (as you can see) to join this forum and what I find is again very pleasing. I love how the people in this forum are friendly, and tolerant of people that are against the bronies. We need more awesome communities like this one. And I'm proud to say, that I now consider myself a brony, no matter what my friends or others tell me. There's nothing wrong with a 17 year old guy watching My little pony, how strange it may sound. BROHOOF!
