Queen Chrysalis sat at her throne and her changelings were at work expanding the hive and making it stronger. There was a few slackers but the Queen promptly disciplines them with her magical Cocoons as a equivalent to Solitary Confinement. This is so the hive mind can return order to her children. She couldn't have any weakness in her forces. Though even she cannot foresee the future threat that would endanger even ponies.
Meanwhile, in Celestia's castle, the Princess of the Sun was having a cup of tea. Sure, she was bored, but it was nonetheless rewarding. However, there was a threat on the horizon not even she could forsee.
Chrysalis notices some buzz in the hive mind about a rumor staring to be passed around. Chrysalis sighs and gets up, stretching her body. "I suppose this'll be a good reason to get up and check up my children. She explores her hive and sees what everypony was doing. She could hear whispers near by and she lands near where two changeling were having conversation about some great new evil that could attack all Equestria. The Queen then sighs and she walks to her repository of lore. She looks for anything suggesting a bigger threat then ponies themselves to her hive.
Suddenly, Celestia received rumors of a new evil threat to Equestria, bigger than even the Changelings. "I'd better find out what's going on," she said, as she left the tea room.
Chrysalis found something that disturbed her. While it sickened her. She must ajorn with Princess Celestia and Luna. She grabs a paper and pen with her magic, and writes a urgent letter to Celestia. She knew that they have had bitter ties but it's not like she has a choice if she hopes to overthrow prophecy. Even if the Elements have to help. Once she was done writing her letter and she has one of her messenger changelings take it to Celestia, if they will let the poor thing in that is.
