I thought it would be interesting to see what the majority of the site stand politically so I thought I would make this. To start test:http://www.politicalcompass.org/test After doing the test I had discovered that I'm pretty much a left-wing libertarian and I'm actually surprised about this as my mum and dad did it but they were slightly nearer the centre. My results: And the graph below which shows where famous politicians stand. Shows that I am more libertarian than francois hollande, nelson Mandela and the dahli llama.
Here is me, but I still consider myself a lot more centralist than this shows. Though I do agree with what it shows with the libertarianism.
Hm. I think I already established that my Libertarian score would be moderately high. I'm also pleased that I'm only halfway into the 'Left' category. My views on crime and punishment and discipline of children probably prevented it from being too left.
Wow. I was considering taking it until I realized how blatantly biased it is. Pretty much every "bad" answer pushes you toward the right while every "Good" answer pushes you toward the left. Plus the questions look like they were written by a twelve year old.
The questions are deliberately set up to make right-wingers look like total pricks. This clearly wasn't written by a politically neutral individual. First Question: "If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations." Right-wingers don't think the economy should SERVE anything. They believe in a natural economic flow, it just so happens that the money tends to gravitate towards powerful corporations. They don't SUPPORT corporations controlling all the wealth, they simply SUPPORT the corporation's RIGHT to have it. However, if you were to answer "I strongly Disagree" to this question, it would make out like "Oh, I'm a capitalist pig and I hate the people."
If you strongly disagree, you say that "Economic Globalization should primarily serve the interests of trans-national corporations." I see nothing bad about this. I don't hate the people. I just want people to actually work for what they get, and get what they worked for.
Some of the questions I didn't understand exactly what thy were asking, but I had a fairly decent understanding for most of them
I'd like to point out, though, that I don't believe this quiz. According to it, Obama is extremely conservative. xD
Capitalism is awesome. You're the closest one to my opinions. That's quite surprising, considering how far apart we are in terms of religion.
dont really know if i belong here but i answered as best as i could and this is where i stand to be honest... i have no idea what being left or right even means
