Have a pony you created? Would you like to share? This is the thread for you! To create my first pony, I used the Pony Creator (http://generalzoi.deviantart.com/#/d3h5xck) and GIMP to add in a cutie mark. Here is my first Pony, named Joe Knicky: Creation Process Actually, I first wanted to make a Pony that was a tobacconist (as I am a tobacconist), but decided that tobacco was not a good theme for the MLP universe, so I went with coffee instead. His name was originally "Bleecker" after Bleecker street in Manhattan, but decided that this isn't a very pony-like name. I decided to allude to coffee with the name "Joe" and Knicky simply because it sounded catchy and relates to New York. Joe Knicky is a white stallion with a blue mane and tail and he always wears orange sunglasses, these three colors symbolizing the colors of the flag of New York City. I included a watch because he is a very punctual pony and lives for his business. His cutie mark is an image of three coffee beans, symbolizing his business and passion. About Joe Knicky Joe Knicky is the owner of a bustling cafe and coffee shop in downtown Manehattan. He works tirelessly to maintain his business and pursues all avenues of competition with competing coffee shops in Manehattan. His favorite activity is traveling around Equestria in search of new and exotic coffee beans to introduce to the trendy occupants of his city and can frequently be seen "on Safari" in the remote areas of the country. Joe Knicky discovered his cutie mark when he was a young colt while apprenticing at a coffee shop as a way to avoid attending summer school. Joe Knicky is described by his friends as "confident, hard-working, and helpful", but also as "ruthless, unscrupulous, and vindictive" by his competitors. He is known to have very close relationships with his regular customers and is often said to have an approachable, if also caffeinated, personality.
Bamboo's next post is going to be amazing.

Azure "Azul" Crash ::Creation:: Not a whole lot went into his design, to be honest. I decided right from the get-go that I wanted him to be a Pegasus because I never had character that could fly before. As far as his colors and mane design go, they were merely borrowed from this particular character's other incarnations. There's two little differences from the normal pegasus in his design, one being the under feathers(closest to his spine) on each wing are the same color as the hair running down his chest from his snout. The other is in relation to his story and the injury he sustained; his right wing is slightly crooked and the tips look a bit more pointed(sorta like that on his cutie mark). When it came down to his story, I had a basic idea of what I wanted. Bamboo helped me flesh it out and that's that. ::About:: Azul was destined to be the next member of the high-flying acrobatics group 'The Wonderbolts', having aced each and every try-out, even gaining some attention from Spitfire. His dream was within reach. The big day finally came, and Azure was the lucky pony to be inducted into the group. Spitfire was amongst the first from the group to congratulate him. Azure was living the dream, however, it just wasn't meant to be as just two weeks after joining the group, he broke his right wing during a rehearsal for his first big show. After being laid up in bed for several weeks, he finally regained the ability to fly; however things weren't the same and he was unable to keep himself afloat for any long periods of time, let alone perform with his aerial acrobatics group. The Wonderbolts had no choice but to let him go before ever even publicly announcing his induction into the group. Shortly after, he found it increasingly hard to live in Cloudsdale due to his injured wing, this lead to him making the ultimate decision to move to the land below; To Equestria. He moved into a small cabin outside of Ponyville where he now lives a peaceful life away from the Wonderbolts and away from any the busy Cloudsdale life; choosing to keep his prior life a secret from everypony in order to avoid unwanted attention. Now he makes a living working as an odd-job pony, taking on jobs big and small for the ponies of Ponyville where the only annoyances he has to deal with these days comes from the local hot-shot pegasus mare whom constantly challenges him to races and the pain from the injury that never fully healed in his right wing.

Story could of course use a re-write as I was never any good at that sort of stuff.
His design concept was to make a pony who looks as creepy as possible without looking stereotypical. Tommy is a compulsive blasphemer with a fetish for fetishes (the mystical implement kind). He is obsessively liberal, intolerant of Celestia's absolute rule, any tradition, any opinion against openness to all opinions regardless of any and all factors involved, and any degree of stinginess. He is however, traditional in his approaches to courtship. Also of note is his split personality in which both exist at the same time with one controlling the left side of his body and the other controlling the right side of his body. His left side is egotistic and self-loving while his right side is submissive and self-loathing. Tommy has a rose-colored monocle on his left eye, symbolizing the "rose-colored glasses" outlook of his left side.
Blu-Cup: Sorry, dood, I'm not going to post my chars here. They're too many to list, and I'm freaky lazy right now. Well, I'm NOT going to post every single character I did, because I already have a DeviantART account to post those, and I seriously hate advertising, you know... BUT... ...I can introduce some of you to my newly made character. This colt is named Triple Shot, and he's a pegasus with wide wings. Creation: He's primarily based on this guy. I happen to like this series a lot, so many of my semi-OCs/fan-characters are based on its cast. About: He was a normal draft-helper pegasus living at Horseshoe Bay, until one day, because he refused an invitation from a witch who wanted to date him, he got merged into a pelican. He went merged for two years until Twilight Sparkle arrived and broke the spell.

His dream was within reach. The big day finally came, and Azure was the lucky pony to be chosen out of the bunch. Just a day before he was to become an official Wonderbolt member, Azure was involved in an accident during rehearsal for his public inauguration ceremony. The injuries he suffered in the accident severely disfigured his right wing, making it almost useless for anything but low to ground hovering; but even such a basic action caused him great pain. This effectively brought an end to his career as a Wonderbolt before it ever even started, but more importantly than that, it meant that he was going to be unable to continue living in Cloudsdale as his mangled wing would make it hard for him to get around in such a place that is built for the Pegasus race. After recovering to an extent, Azure moved to his new permanent home below the clouds- in the small hamlet of Ponyville located in scenic Equestria. What's He Doing Now?: Azure now lives peacefully by himself on the outskirts of Ponyville. He makes a modest living doing odd-jobs for the ponies around town. Since moving to Ponyville, Azure has developed a knack for cooking as it helps keeps his mind of the chronic dull pain emanating from the mangled bones in his wing that didn't quite heal like they should have. Every other day, he is found working as a part-time chef at the local café. He keeps his past to himself and tells anypony that may ask about his wing that he was involved in an accident as a colt. However, when it comes to a few of the more acute ponies - a local hot-shot mare and her bookworm friend in particular - that story just doesn't cut it when they begin asking about the meaning of his cutie mark. Despite the hoof he has been dealt, he has not let it dampen his spirits one bit. Although he knows that he'll never get back into the Wonderbolts, his goal is to continue working with his wing and someday, hopefully, regain some more functionality in order to be able to soar through the clear blue skies once more. Gone are his half closed eyes and... Well, that's it.
Oh well, why not... Here are a couple of words about Pulse Wave if anypony's interested. (Click the image to get to the OC thread and find out more about the, well, sketch) Pulse Wave grew up in the outskirts of Manehattan, and you can still hear where he's from when you hear him talk. They say the outskirts of Manehattan aren't really Manehattan. And in fact, whereas Manehattan is famous for being a high society metropolis, its outskirts aren't closely as luxurious. Pulse's parents are both unicorns, so he isn't the son of an earth pony and a pegasus. His father runs a small electronics repair shop. Electronics aren't that uncommon in these parts of Equestria, they tend to break down every once in a while, and why should someone living in Manehattan's outskirts buy something new and expensive when the old one can be fixed for a lot less? In fact, electronics tend to wander from the inner city to the outskirts when they're sold second-hand or even third-hand. In his class, Pulse was by far the last to get his cutie mark. The reason wasn't because he was good at many things but because he was mediocre at best at many things. He loved music, but did notes appear on his flanks? No. Of course not because he couldn't find a way to express his love for music actively—until the day when a synthesiser appeared in his father's workshop. Once it was repaired, Pulse tried to play it, and he discovered that this was his instrument. Not only that, he came out of the work shop with a cutie mark. But he wouldn't become an actual musician until he lived in a place of his own. He earned what money he needed with a couple of jobs, for example at his father's workshop, at a nearby musical instruments shop where he met lots of musicians or as a stage hoof—the musicians whom he met appreciated the help of a unicorn who had lots of practice at levitating things. He got into Manehattan's club scene that way. Sometimes, while he was already there and working for a small act, he was asked to stay and help the headliners, too. This way, he got to know acts like Mare, Daft Pony or Deadhor5 when he was at the very beginning of his career. He also met the occasional DJ although they usually didn't require any help. If there was one thing he learned in these days, it was that he wanted to make electronic music, but not these kinds of electronic music. He wanted to put some actual songwriting, composition and arrangement into his music and stay away from whatever was hip at the clubs. He collected some equipment, most of it used, instruments, outboard, recording gear and began to make his own music. At the same time, he felt absolutely aware that pretty much nopony wanted to hear his music because while it was electronic music, it was too far away from what was played at the clubs. So neither did he record anything nor did he perform anywhere. He made music just for himself. He only ever used his recording equipment after Deadhor5 talked him into not wasting his talent (which he hadn't even shown to the super-star in the making) and putting together an album. To his surprise, the album didn't bomb, it actually sold well enough for him to earn more than a few extra bits and not have to take so many small jobs anymore. Nevertheless, he was pretty much a recluse and tried to not be recognised or remembered by anypony anywhere. There wasn't a picture of him anywhere on his album, so nopony could associate his name with a face or a cutie mark. He spent most of his further life at his place, so he even met fewer musicians as he didn't take that many backstage jobs anymore. When getting his groceries, he would walk long distances to avoid having to shop at the same place too often. It was in one of these situations, in a small supermarket, where some staff pony recognised him. Not as the musician, but as some pony who happened to show up there every few months only which was odd enough. While Pulse decided he had made the mistake to use the same shops multiple times, more than twice at least (which he couldn't avoid anyway), this pony convinced him that the cold and anonymous city life might not be the right thing for him and recommended him to move elsewhere. He suggested a small countryside town named Ponyville. Pulse did some research about this little town, Ponyville. Quite rural, quite traditional. He'd better not let the electronic musician shine through that much, he decided. Life would be a lot cheaper and also healthier. Happier, even, as he read, and everypony knows each other there. This made him doubt his own plans. He wasn't sure if he would fit into such a heartly and happy place. But he decided to give it a try, also because that meant getting away from Manehattan's run-down outskirts. There was even a vacant house he could move into as he found out, one of the few with electricity which most inhabitants of Ponyville apparently didn't need. He loaded his stuff onto a U-Draft carriage and went on a journey of several days. His last and most expensive stop on his way was Canterlot. His timing was perfect until then. He arrived late in the evening, yet still in time to get a room for the night. He remained almost unseen up to that point. But what about the next day? Ponyville is just a few hours from Canterlot, did he really want to enter that town at broad daylight when everypony was up and busy? His new place was on the edge of town, but on the far side from Canterlot, right next to the mill. He changed his plans. He stayed another day at Canterlot and tried his best to remain unseen there before he left town after sunset. With probably nopony but the recently returned Princess Luna (this was all over the newspapers) watching, he took a longer path around Ponyville and entered from the other side, and when Princess Celestia raised the sun, the only sign of someone new living in that particular house was the empty carriage standing behind it which disappeared the following night when Pulse brought it to U-Draft in Canterlot. So he had managed to remain unseen for one day. He used it to make himself comfortable, install his musical equipment, living on what supplies he had brought and catch some sleep as he was hauling around a carriage two nights in a row. He even took a nocturnal life into consideration, but he figured that it wouldn't work. He didn't want to make any music at night without properly insulated walls. Also, he would have to get some groceries eventually, Canterlot was far away and quite expensive, and unlike Manehattan, Ponyville turned out to not have those handy little shops which are open from early in the morning until late at night, let alone all night. It had a market instead with fresh food for prices Manehattanites wouldn't even dream of, but this market was something he would have to get used to. And living on nothing but grass and water from the river was out of question. So he had to go out and meet somepony eventually. It wasn't that he disliked meeting other ponies. He just didn't want to draw too much attention upon himself. Or any attention, for that matter. Now, however, he was in Ponyville. And what he expected that to mean—and what it actually meant—he experienced first hoof when he decided to step outside to take a first look at the town at daylight and maybe take some food home. Before he did that, he went through the scenario in his head. Ponyville appeared to be small and at the same time friendly, so he expected everypony to know everypony which meant that he'd stand out as a stranger whom nopony knew which in turn would draw everypony's attraction upon him. What he did not count upon was meeting somepony who did know him. And that certain somepony was Vinyl Scratch, more famous as DJ P0N-3, who had moved from Canterlot to Ponyville herself after falling in love with the town and its citizens recently and since she had increasingly more performances in Ponyville than in Canterlot anyway. He had met her at one of her few and far between gigs in Manehattan where he helped set up her equipment, they had talked briefly, and he didn't remember much more of this talk than her claim that Deadhor5 took the idea for a digit at the end of his stage name from her. Now he met her with no shades on for the first time, and she recognised him as he was about to sneak into town. She said she hadn't been there for too long herself, but she offered to lead him around town. Without saying it, she made clear that she wouldn't allow him to slip through the small side alleys unseen. Without her shades and her stage name, she was very talkative, and he figured that she would fit into Ponyville easily. She told him that she knew and owned his album, two copies actually, one for at home and one for her DJ set where she would slip some of its tracks in, particularly when she happened to be in Manehattan. That a party was thrown for her on her first day as a citizen of Ponyville with herself as the DJ. And that he should count on a party for him to take place soon. When they passed the town square where only few ponies could be seen who also didn't show much interest in the two, he made clear that he did not want to be presented or introduced to anypony. If they wanted to know who he is, they'd ask. No more attention than necessary. And no word about his music. The two proceeded to the market square, one of Ponyville's major socialising locations as Vinyl put it as a humourous warning. Pulse let her go ahead and followed at a safe distance. He was both surprised and relieved to see that, like when he spent that day in Canterlot, he wasn't exactly surrounded by ponies immediately. He stood and looked around and pondered where to go first and what to say to not leave the wrong impression since he would have to deal with the same ponies more often from then on. The moment he was about to approach the news stand, a pink pony appeared seemingly out of nowhere, asked who he was, but didn't leave him any time to reply because she let an avalanche of words loose on him which ended with an invitation to his own welcome party at Sugarcube Corner. Just after she had hopped away, another unicorn told him that was Pinkie Pie, one of the six ponies who saved Equestria just recently, and said she thought she had seen him in Canterlot a few days ago. He went home with the recent Hoofington Post and two bags full of vegetables, knowing half a dozen ponies by their names. And the party made sure that everypony in town got to know him, and that he learned to know a few more of them. The town of Ponyville did its best to start to break the ice around him. Twilight Sparkle wanted to know how and why he had come to Ponyville, and after she heard his story, she said she was sent to Ponyville to make some friends, too. He realised that this applied to him as well. Only a few days later, he was already confident enough to consider putting together a second album. He has grown considerably more easy-going than before, although still not as much as the ponies around him.
i would write it here but it would be too long, so im writing a fic about sonic's story and hope everypony check it out and be sincere about it.
Well, I have one, his names Skye Moon. And, I planned on writing a fanfic about him, of which I soon will. And until I get off my butt and make a cutie mark for him, he will be a manly blank flank. Thank you.
I've already thought about making an actual fanfic of this. Either that, or using parts of it in something Conversion Bureau-style. However, writing something with a self-insert OC and getting acceptance for it isn't exactly the easiest task in this fandom. Nice to see this coming from you, by the way.
<----I'm still trying to work out Zephyr's backstory, but thanks to the radio chat, he's (I'm?) dating Fluttershy....YES!!!
Wendy's a simple one Windsong (Wendy) is in that inbetween age that doesn't seem to crop up in the show that much. Definitely not as old as Mr. & Mrs. Cakes, but not as young as the Mane Six. I suppose good ol' Big Macintosh would be the closest there is. Old enough to have a job and not get sucked into too many crazy adventures. Wendy lives on the far coast of Equestria. It's definitely windy out there! She lives on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Oh, it isn't a scary cliff, it's actually quite a nice little outcropping. Other than her seaside cottage (ooh! I should draw that. That will be fun to draw! Will edit later), she also tends to a lighthouse just down the strand. Since not too many ponies live out here, the weather is kind of left to its own devices. This is wild fog! As a pegasus, she does her best to keep it reasonably safe for ships in the night, keeping a few of the stars in the sky and the lighthouse lit, and has been known to keep sailors company during the day when they get stuck out with no wind in their sails, hence her Cutie Mark! It's two stars behind a full sail. Because of her somewhat hermit-y lifestyle, she's a quiet and steady ol' girl. You kind of have to be to keep the ocean in line! That being said, she's a tough cookie who's strong enough to show some serious storms and squalls who's boss! Any other day, though, and she'll be happy on the beach, up on the cliff, or dabbling on a rock with some seaweed out in the bay.
Well... !#%@ I wanted to date Fluttershy *sigh* *walks away with depression following* Correction^ Edit:Btw it's only a joke as much as I do love Fluttershy i'm not a shipping person
I'm working on a sea pony character I'll be using for a fanfic involving the mane 6, but I haven't completely figured out her name and everything.
