Alright, so here are a few of my OC's. I'll be sure to add to the list as I add characters. Descriptions written while pretty damn tired, so I might come back and improve it a bit later. Also, I wasn't sure if Twilight's parents had names, so if they do, I would appreciate being let know. Name: Shade Shimmer Gender: Male Race: Unicorn Birthplace: Canterlot Personality: Shade Shimmer, to put it lightly, is a royal jerk. He uses trickery and his charms to get what he wants, and is exceedingly good at pick pocketing. He has a tendency to use ponies to get what he wants, and then leaves them in the dust. Although he has done this for years, Shade is starting to feel regret for his actions… Background: His own mother neglecting to take care of him, Shade Shimmer was taken in by his aunt and uncle, Twilight Sparkle’s parents. He and Twilight got along very well, like best friends, although he was always getting into trouble. After a harsh falling out between them, Shade fled Canterlot and started running with various groups of ponies. Twilight and Shining Armor still have yet to forgive him. Name: Midnight Aura Gender: Male Race: Pegasus Birthplace: Cloudsdale Personality: Midnight has a very self-deprecating sense of humor. He is very friendly with nearly everypony. He is openly (and proudly) gay, and is quick to flirt with other stallions, whether they like it or not. He enjoys making auroras and clouds. Background: Midnight has always been very creative with cloud shapes and usage since he was small. He was never really “in the closet”, he always felt more of an attraction towards other colts. When he was still 10, he invented more easily controllable storm clouds that could be used to avoid causing major property damage. Later on, he invented clouds that could emit different types of colored lights and remote-controllable clouds.
