I'd noticed that the radio has become a bit boring. It feels like the community doesn't really have any input into the what comes on. That's why I was thinking, to give a bit back to the commmunity, have a live podcast. Now, a large demographic of bronies, myself included, are gamers. There are many brony podcasts out there, but not many focus on some of the excellent games in and out of the fandom. Respected community members could be guests, and perhaps a few fan-favorite musicians on occasion. I know quite a few people aren't gamers, but the podcast could also be casual enough that people can listen and laugh even without knowing about games. Who knows, maybe new gamers will be made. Now, I'm fully aware of the issue of finding a host, but that should sort itself out. The real problem is the streaming data limit, though that can be bypassed by using a website like Twitch or Ustream and embedding it. The estimated time per episode is about three hours, weekly or bi-weekly. I'd love to hear feedback!
So, I'm guessing you wouldn't host? Umm...We have a few peeps that could run a podcast of some kind, of that nature but it's all a case of getting them to do it. I honestly couldn't say but I'm all ears for volunteers. Even so, I do like the idea of it.
Unfortunately, I'm busy with schoolwork, so I could only possibly guest sometimes. However, some ponies do have more time than I, so it could be possible.
let me be that guy and point out the bit in your argument you may have missed. Wants a podcast despite one already existing, then says you don't want to host it. so why not just enjoy the one that already exists?
I think he means he wants one that focuses more on brony gaming and such. Lemme just say, THAT is a podcast I'd tune in for.
