I decided that this needs it's own thread, since I think this idea actually has a chance of succeeding, and organization is nice, as well as not being thrown off topic. So, down to business! If you were paying attention to the general chat thread recently, you know that several people, including me, have decided to do a major crossover that is supposed to be about uncovering the meaning of Hippitin Slop Chappers (HSC). It was also suggested that this be a co-lab to add to the already insane premise of the thing. So, what I propose is that we have an open google doc, and any one can edit in their part of the story. Only three restrictions: 1) Forum safe. No clop. 2) Only edit your own parts. Don't go change other people's parts, or I will be mad, as well as the rest of the authors/contributors/whatever you call yourself. 3) For above rule, mark the parts you contributed with tags to show where it ends and where it starts. As part of this, don't randomly add sections inside those of others, or at least without asking them. Is this the idea that Dwynter and I started, with all those random characters? If so, I approve the hay out of this. Synopsis: In a forbidden land, inaccessible by all, there lays a secret, dormant throughout the eons. No one knows what this hidden truth entails, only it's name is known to all.....Hippiten slop chappers. Now, summoned by otherworldly powers, heroes and villains from across time and space begin to arrive in one world, one shared existence. The truth of Hippiten slop chappers will be revealed. Only time will tell who shall uncover this most ancient of truths.... How's that?
Strange synopsis. I'm not a big fan of writing OC characters myself, so I wouldn't know where to begin for something like this.
It's not really OCs, it's basically any character you want to throw into it. Think the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, but with a story.

That's why we're doing this project, to find out once and for all. HSC came out of nowhere (I think from the radio chat), and it stayed. I have no idea what it truly is. One member said it and it stayed.

We must go to Spectacle Rock at once!” Link frantically packed his bag, all the time thinking, “If something has Navi this worried, what could this possibly be?” Once he was packed, Link told Navi he was ready, and the two set off on another journey into the great unknown…”
Yep, that works! I don't think I'd like the story set in any particular place (Hyrule, Earth, Equestria, etc.), just a neutral area. That's my opinion, we can work it out more.
Hmm, how about the concept of multiple worlds, if you want to have several contributing authors, that would probably be the best idea... ...by the way, what exactly does Hippitin Slop Chappers mean? I've seen it often enough here, but still no idea. :derpe:
yes i agree, no particular area would be nice.the only reason i specify is for this 'spoke of the introduction. i plan to have the Legend of Zelda characters get transported to some other "neutral" area.
by all means go for it! tell me when you open the document, and i will gladly post anything i have. HSC will be defined!

Also, the date of this closing is undetermined, but aim for two weeks, maybe less. It might stretch though, so don't rush it.
