Name: Oracle Sex: Male Occupation: Philosopher and Yin-Yang Magic Specialist Species: Unicorn Age: Due to his knowledge of Yin-Yang Magic, Oracle has expanded his lifespan for 18 generations; he does not, however, have more physical or mental capablities than any other pony. He merely has an extraordinarily long life. Origin: Hailing from the land of Ivalice, Oracle came to Equestria seeking knowledge of ancient magicks that may not have existed in Ivalice. After many negotiations with Princess Celestia, Oracle has permanent residence in a vacant study across from Canterlot. Any and all who seek his guidance to life and magick alike are welcome to ask questions. Backstory: Oracle was born on January 23rd, 1276 during the Minolian period in Igros, Ivalice. Under the tutilage of Agrias, a Holy Knight of the royal family, he was tutored in the knowledge of healing and destructive magic; however, rather than using this magic to harm others, he studied a combination of both to cure illness and cause illness alike, such as blindness, petrification, even scrambling the mind into a massive state of confusion. While he does not have any outstanding capabilities as a fighter, his lifespan has been drastically increased due to the nature of this magick. In 1462, Oracle had learned all of the magick that was stored in Castle Igros's libraries. Wanting to expand his knowledge, the first place he set his eyes on was Equestria. Originally a human, which caused much distrust between Celestia and Oracle, Oracle agreed to change his body to that of a unicorn to best suit his background. His name from the past is unknown, and he has lost track of what his name is. In 1538, he took up the name 'Oracle', and decided to make Equestria his permanent home becoming rather attatched to the community and its people. *Heavily inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics; I intend to branch out more when I become more comfortable with creating OC's
