"What I propose is a LORE section for the RP Chat. A place where time-lines, major actors and events are stretched out and easily searched through. We can go even further and include some text from a Free, Web-based GURPS or other Ruleset for those who want to throw dice and fight or find treasure and soforth. It won't take off very fast but if we put up something describing a chain of events set against a timeline where ponies can drop themselves and their OCs into in order to experiment with their characters." This was an idea given to us from a very clever friend of mine. With the complaints and problems that have stemmed from the RP chat recently, I feel this is a great idea on how we can give the RP Chat a direction that everypony can have fun with and get ideas from. What I'm asking is how does everypony feel about this, and would everypony be willing to help out?

No, it won't. Since the RP Chat is no longer hosted on the everypony.com servers, we'll have to use a different user database. We will also need another chat system since the one we are using right now, generates a hayload of database traffic. So much my host actually asked me to take it down. I will install this new system tonight and see how it goes.
Foxytail, that sounds like an awesome idea. I'd be more than willing to help out if needed. I've got experience with a variety of different RP systems, so just let me know what I can do.
Sounds awesome and loving the dice idea and the sort as well... but will there also be a place for, RPing to a lesser extent, like what used to go on in EPR? ...that was one of my jams.
As a former RPer, I approve of this. As a programmer, I can help (I do Java atm, so I dunno how much help it'll be) As Trollestia, I lol'd, because I have to.

Well I haven't even gotten a chance to use the rp chatroom, this boils my blood! Yet i understand, one question, what is the estimated time? I mean for the chat to be up again.
