    Ok. Well, it would start out as a normal day in Equestria, doesn't really matter where exactly (Manehatten, Canterlot, Ponyville, etc.). Then the sky fills with big changling sky chariots carrying the invasion forces. Ponies meet up and fight against the changlings. If you've seen Red Dawn (either the first one, or the recent remake) then you'll know how the rest goes. Eventually, the rebel pony forces beat the changlings and get things back to normal.
