Savvy sat in the war room. She looked around the table, at the ponies who agreed to join the mission. Shade was the groups demopony. Savvy herself was not very patient. She hoped he could get the job done, for he would be vital. Savvy didn't know much about Summer Snap. She knew she was a pony who was determined to fulfill her dream, but that was about it. White Storm sat at the edge of the table, his cold eyes impatient. He knew how to track ponies down, or so Savvy knew. She would have to wait and see if he was useful to her. The Hood sat cheerfully at the table. Promoted recently to the head of archers, he was a master marksman. It would be very useful. Useful indeed... Raziel Glade... Not much was known about him, except, well, that he was slightly insane, but powerful. Savvy would have to watch him. Savvy looked up as her sister, Ria came in. "Hello, everypony. Has Savvy explained everything to you yet?" asked Ria in her powerful voice.
Hearing Ria's voice suddenly looked up. shade didn't personaly like this at all. he hated getting into danger like this. as long as he got to blow something up he was happy.
Green Hood looked up at Ria and answered to her question. he had always preffered her over savvy. she knew that but savvy didnt. "She hasnt yet, so you didn't miss anything but one of my archers who was out scouting spotted two carts going to discords castle".
"Nope, she didn't explain anything yet. All we know is that we're breaking into Discord's castle, nothing more, nothing less." White said, while carving something into a small log with a knife.
"unless she wants use to just walk in not knowing what to do, we better get what we need to know," Shade said while fiddling with some molding clay he used for his bombs. "All that i know is that i am going to get to blow something up."
"you could blow something up but then the noise caused by the explosion will alert everyone. I could get four of my top men to accompany me and we could take out the gate guards silently and at a distance allowing everyone to sneak in". Green hood said seriously.
"whats the fun of blowing things up when no one is around to hear it?" Shade asked in response to Hood's idea. "why even bother blowing it up then?"
"Shade, this isn't a game. You have to be precise with your attacks if this is going to work, if no one hears it, that's good." White said, disappointed at Shade's philosophy of "Blowing things up"
"even if it isn't a game why shouldn't i have fun with it. besides it's not we got anything better to do," shade said glumly as he put his molding clay away.
Savvy spoke in her clear voice. She was known as one of the most beautiful ponies in the world; however she was also know for her wits in battle. "Shade, Hood, and Storm. Focus. You risk our mission if you have 'fun' with it, and bickering won't help either.. This is a serious matter." she said. Ria was nodding before she even finsihed. "Exactly. Savvy.. Be a dear and do the plans, please?" Savvy's horn powered up, and a blast of light showed blueprints of the castle. Small figurines were matched to a color. Shade was a black, White Storm was a blinding white, The Hood was a dark green, Ria was a shifting grey, Savvy was a pinkish red, Summer was a creamy brown, and Raziel was a orange. "Much obliged, Sav." said Ria. She pointed to the grey and the red figurine, with the cream trailing behind them. "When we get to the castle, Shade, Sav, and maybe Summer are going to plant some minor explosives and get the hay out of there. The explosives will get us into the castle, not intentionally killing anypony, just getting a way in without being detected.. We'll need some silent explosives." The blueprint shifted, and it came to a tube like area. "The rest of you will wait inside of the sewers until someone proclaims it safe. We will proceed to enter the castle." explained Savvy. The blueprint moved again, revealing an long corridor inside the castle with a hole blown into it. All of the colors were moving down the hallway. "Once we get in, Sav can navigate us to the throne room, where we can try to conquer Discord." concluded Ria. "Any questions?" asked Savvy grimly.
"um yes i do have one question. do we have an escape route. they aren't just gonna let us walk out the back door," shade asked while thinking on how big of an explosion he could get away with and it would still be called "minor"
"you do realize that by the time that hole is blown in the wall the gaurds will be alerted. Discord would escape by the time we got to were he is at," shade said with a strange persistance in his voice which he hardly ever has.
"That's why we need you to make the explosives silent. M can find an unguarded part in the ground. She was born in the castle. We can get there quickly enough."
"Got it, anything else we should know?" White asked while looking through the schematics, memorizing them.
"Yeah. One more thing. M!" Savvy called. The doors opened, and an absolutely gorgeous pony stepped in. "Everypony, this is Agent M." "Pleased to make your acquaintance." she said.
"Storm, seeing as you may be the tracker, she is our foundation for this entire experiment. It would do well to be respectful." said Savvy sternly.
"Fine, I'll cooperate, but remember, I didn't join because I wanted to help." White said, with a cold tone. "When are we setting off anyway?" He added.
Green hood got up and lent a Serious hoofshake to M "names Green hood head of all the archer's here. Ive heard great things about your work but I didn't think you'd be this beautiful but I guess you have to be in your line of work". He smiled looking at the map and added to light green figures symbolising the two archers who were to accompany him.
