This RP is and adventure, like the adventure endured by the hobbits in Lord of The Rings, only dealing with Equestria! Strange things have started happening in Equestria, the most prominent being that the weather has a mind of it's own paying no head to the efforts of the weather patrol. There are whispers of dark things wandering in the night just outside of isolated towns and villages. What was once a beautiful Equestria has now turned into one of suspicion of what is around the next corner and what awaits in the darkness of the night that Luna brings. The princesses themselves cannot control the oddities that are occurring all over Equestria. A trio of strange figures however have arrived at an old Inn known as the Inn of the White Stallion near the Everfree Forest. What these three are doing none can say, only that they keep to the Inn and have gone no where else in the past two days. What mysteries await you and your group none can say, other than all of Equestria is looking too you to help. About the game: There are only SIX slots in this game for anypony on the forums when those are filled up the game will begin. You must make sure that your posts make sense to the one above yours or to the prompts from the character that I will play or the events I set in motion. FYI- yes my OC will make an appearance in the game. Unicorns- mainly magic casters or healers, have enhanced spotting for magical devices and traps. can use a luminescence power to provide light, all unicorns and alicorns get this ability on top of their picked abilities. Unicorns also have a higher resistance to magical attacks from the other ponies. Pegasuses- high speeds and better vision at longer ranges, though this means they have lighter armor. being lighter than earth ponies and unicorns and alicorns pegaususes get a silent walk/fly ability allowing them to stealth into almost any situation. Earth ponies: stronger than alicorns, pegasus, and unicorn ponies earth ponies can wear heavier armor and can carry heavier loads than the others. Earth ponies have a stronger resistance to physical attacks than the other ponies. Alicorns: alicorns can carry medium to light loads and can specialize in a number of skills. They wear medium armor and get both a 50% resistance to magical attacks and also have a 50% chance to evade enemy attacks. You are given five special abilities slots, no godmodding and nothing to hard for your team mates to understand. fill out your character sheet as such: Name: Rashall Firemane Age: 20 Typeegasus Abilities: Shadow Strike, Words of Power (can only use three at a time or one big one), Nova Blast, Fury of the Eldar, Sight of the Phoenix. (your type abilities are listed above) Bio: Rahsall is quite and mysterious to those that see him, but he hides several great secrets. He has come to Equestria to quell the shifting events that are occurring at the present time, but he needs six ponies to come on the quest with him and they all must be from Equestria itself.
Name: Clef Nguyen Age: 19 Type:Earth Abilities: Mud cannon (Creates a cannon out of mud that fires huge dried mud balls), Armored hooves (Takes in Mud from the ground and hardeners it around his hooves) , Mud decoy (Creates a exact replica of Clef) , Earth weapons (Creates weapons like maces and swords out of hardened mud), Mud Ground (Turns the ground into mud in a 10 feet). Bio: Clef is a happy go lucky person but can be serious at times. His parents had trained him to control the earth around him but can only make a few creations he did have a book how to make creation but he had lost it in a bet and has been trying to find the person he had lost it too but everyone who had it sold it to another person and had been told the last person with it is somewhere near ponyville.
Name: Kidd (Is a last name required?) Age: 17 (Technically) Type: Pegasus Abilities: Shadow Walk (Can move through shadows as if they were portals), NightMare (If he touches anypony's forehead, can cause a NightMare for a small amount of time), Blur (Can "fuz" his own apearance to make himself harder to see), and The Stare (A weaker version of Fluttershy's Stare) Bio: Kidd rarely interacts with others, he spends most of his time training in unknown corners of the Everfree forest. His ability to walk through shadows has distanced him further from society. He often spends months of time in the world of the shadows. When in these shadows, he does not age. As a result, his mind is years older then his body. He is a distant relative of Fluttershy, and can use a weak version of The Stare.
Name: Blize Blitzrend Age: 20 Type: Pegasus Abilities: Energy Blast (Simple blast of force energy), Thunder Song (Summons a lightning storm), Blitz Flash (Can disappear and reappear), Energy Mirror (Creates weak replicas of himself out of energy), Quad Energy Complex (Strongest move. Has caused craters in the past. Involves flying high into the sky and then running into the ground as fast as possible letting out a large energy blast. Hard and dangerous to pull off.) Bio: Blize grew up by himself, inside of a cave, with no help or contact from anypony. He watched his parents die before him and watched his sanity creep away. He learned and mastered the ability of energy manipulation and has caused many a crater around Equistria in his training. He meditates in his free time and can sense when danger is about. He wears skyplate armor made from the pegasus that live in the Aurora Borealis. He makes few acquaintances on his trips to town, but those he does, he keeps close.
Name: Drexler Epsilon Age: 24 Type: Earth Abilities: Cloak of Invisibility (always wears a cloak and when he puts on the hood he turns invisible until he takes the hood off), Quiet footsteps, Night Vision, Master of disguise (can look like anyone but can't match there voice), Flash Bombs. Bio: He was born a thief and had a hard time trying to survive. Born with the strange power of night vision he became famous with Bandits and other Theifs but he later became wanted and was forced to run away. He sooner ended up in ponyville and began his adventure.
Name: Faerie Fox Age: 17 Type: Pegasus Abilities: Can blend in to any surface, expert hunter and tracker, healer and a good cook. No supernatural abilities, but very skillful with what she has. (And she can fly) Bio: Parents unknown, she was raised in the Everfree Forest and has a knowledge of surviving in strange places. She is very friendly and happy to take orders. Her background is largely unknown.
(Now that I've got some time on my hooves, I'll go ahead and join up. I hope this game isn't on too much of a hiatus.) Name: Crimson Star Age: 22 Type: Earth Abilities: Photon Flash (A blast of energy that erupts from a sphere that forms in front of Crimson.) Infinity Bullet (A barrage of small energy blasts that launch from a sphere that forms in front of Crimson.) Lock-on Buster (A microscopic sphere of energy that explodes directly in front of the target.) Meteor Burst (A chain of physical attacks strung together flawlessly, and ending with a Photon Flash.) Final Spirit Cannon (A blast of energy that seeks out it's target, guided by Crimson's direction.) Bio: Crimson Star is a somewhat mysterious pony who was first seen in Ponyville. He's friendly and outgoing, but at the same time, serious and down-to-Earth. All anypony knows is that he just arrived in Ponyville one day, and had been making his home there ever since. He's made a name for himself as a strategist for the Royal Guard, but beyond that, nopony really knows him.
Location: small hill outside of Ponyville, Ponies present: Crimson, Clef, Faerie, and Kidd. You are all gathered on a small green hill outside of ponyville to listen to Clef's new music, sadly both Epsilon and Blize could not make it due to issues at they're homes. The weather at the moment is clear and sunny it seems as though the talk of rogue weather is nothing to be afraid of in Ponyville thanks to the princesses magic. As Clef sets up to play a shinning silver eagle lands on his music stand, the eagle is carrying a message in it's beak, what do you do?
I look at the bird with a confused face and he grabs the letter from the shiny eagle and walks through the grassy hill to the group and says "who is this letter accorded to?" he questioned.
Faerie Fox is leaning against a tree, half asleep from listening to Clef's music. "Hurry up and read it," she says, waving a hoof. "We're not going to find out by you questioning it."
"Ok you dont have be so rash," I start to open the message and starts read it "Uh guys you might want to hear this," he said. He starts to read the message out load so every pony can hear it.
Clef begins to read the message which says, "As you have no doubt heard there is a serious issue with the weather over Equestria. The magic of princess Luna and princess Celestia cannot and will not contain it forever, in fact their power is failing as we speak. Your task if you all accept it is to go to the town of Blackwhite Hollow Northwest of your current location and is located in the Shadowed Forest. You will find me and my accomplices at the White Stallion Inn, my friend Carrion will help you along your way. May the Pantheon watch over you all, I await your arrival if you all choose to accept this adventure." Sincerely Rashall Firemane
He lowers down the letter and looks at everyone "guys i think we are going to be in some kind of adventure," he says. He walks over to were all the ponies were "guys we need more people for this adventure,".
"I don't know..." Says Kidd, "The Shadowed forest? Sounds like home territory to me." Kidd smiles at the thought of a new adventure. "Well, I'm up to it! Everyone else?" Without waiting for a reply, he says, "Good! Then lets go! Somepony who isn't me- lead the way!"
I walk into the nearby town of ponyville. "This will be a good hiding place for now" I said to myself as I put my hood on and disappeared out of sight. I reappeared in a alleyway holding a apple in one hoof and a money pouch in the other. I took a step outside the alley and looked left and right when I looked right outside of the town I noticed a few ponies on a hill. Curious on what was going on up there I put my hood on and headed over there.
"I shall lead the way!" he laughed "but were is the White Stallion Inn,". He looked at the group of ponies but had heard a branch snap right behind him and turned quickly and yelled "who's there!".
He froze realizing he had been caught he took his hood off and introduced himself to the ponies. "Hello I am Drexler and can I ask what you all are doing?"
Crimson had been playing opossum, laying near the group. Anypony looking at him would say he was just asleep. But everypony who was present when the letter arrived knew that it was just how he was. Being the silent type, never speaking unless necessary, and fooling ponies into thinking he wasn't paying attention. When the group was asked for their opinion, he raised his head, and was about to speak, when the new face showed up. He kept mum, studying the pony introducing himself as Drexler. Personally, he didn't think what they were doing was any of Drexler's business. He looked at Clef, and shook his head. He hoped to make it clear that he didn't trust Drexler already. Though, Clef knew that Crimson didn't trust anyone.
"Oh you don't trust anyone," he said "I am who you should call Clef I am a virtuoso at the violin and make some cool creations from the ground,". He stared at Drexler and had noticed that cloak he was wearing it seemed it can make anyone disappear anywhere. "Don't be shy meet the group," he said "but don't try to make trouble around here I dont like trouble makers,". He walks back to his stand packing up everything for the adventure they were going to embark.
He didn't feel threatened by Clef but when he looked at the rest of the group he knew what he meant by trouble. He didn't bother speaking with the other ponies for he was still curious about why they where on the hill so he asked Clef "Why are you here?"
