http://www.theverge.com/2014/8/11/5992933/robin-williams-has-died-in-an-apparent-suicide He was one of my favorite actors growing up in the 90s next to Jim Carrey, Will Smith, and Chris Farley.
So sad to hear this news today. Robin was a gifted actor and a talented comedian. He starred in some of the movies I grew up knowing, loving, and quoting on a daily basis. These include Aladdin 1 & 3, Mrs. Doubtfire, Toys, Jumanji, Jack, Patch Adams, and Bicentennial Man. He will be missed. Nanu Nanu, Robin.
Ugh how saddening... I don't think I ever saw a Robin Williams movie that didn't like. It's hard to believe that this would happen to a man like him. My prayers go out to Robin's family.
Wow! Of all the actors to go, he was the very, very last I would have expected. I'll certainly miss him.
"You were good son, real good; maybe even the best." - Solider, Team Fortress 2 Requiescat in pace, Robin. I'll never forget the joy you've given me during my childhood
The most recent tweet from his awesome daughter Zelda Williams. May love go out to her and the rest of the family. He was a great actor and will always have a special place in my heart.
Man, this was very unexpected. He was one of my favorite actors growing up ever since I first watched Mrs. Doubtfire as a child. Rest in peace, Robin Williams.
When i heard the news that he died, all i could say was "Shazbot!" Just so you know. Nanu Nanu means hello, not goodbye. And you forgot about Hook. Shame on you! :v
http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=152411 Nanu Nanu means both hello and goodbye. He didn't include Hook to the list because it did not follow the above. Now, OT, I am extremely saddened by Robin Williams' death. The fact that it was most likely suicide makes it all the more tragic. Also, my brother used to be scared [insert swear here]-less because of Jumanji, so we watched it frequently whenever he wasn't in the house.
The first movie including Robin Williams I watched was Jumanji, which I had the video of, and watched frequently. As Flutterfly said, I don't think there was a movie that I didn't like that featured Robin Williams. I wish the best for his family, and may he now be at peace.
Surprisingly, this movie hasn't been mentioned here yet: Also this has some relevance:
So, this is gonna be his last movie: Hope they dedicate it to his memory.
Ah, Ben Stiller... This proves that the only way he'll still get an audience is by being in a movie dedicated to a deceased actor who actually is popular.
