    Hello everypony,

Have you ever played Pathfinder, or D&D 3.5? We've been hard at work making a supplemental book that allows you to make and play a pony PC with them, without disrupting the balance of the game or rendering existing content unplayable. We'd like to get people on board, discussing, sharing, and helping test it out, especially if you have experience with the game system.

Check out our facebook page: Here

If you are of artistic bent, we could sure use illustrations to populate the book. Have a look over, give a poke.

The rules are flexible and comprehensive. So far we have over five different breeds of pony to play, new spells, equipment, favored class bonuses.

Not playing a pony? That's ok. We provide rules to have an adorable pony familiar, eager to learn magic from you and assist in your dragon slaying and dungeon exploration activities.

This is not a theoretical project. We already have a book. We're working on polish, playtesting, and refining.

I'm looking forward to hearing from y'all soon.

It's funny you mention this... since we've been working on such a thing. It's called Everypony's Role Playing System, and we've been writing/testing it for about ten weeks now.

Incredibly comprehensive, and totally not level-based. Far simpler than Pathfinder, or D&D, but much more versatile and up to snuff than Roleplaying is Magic.

Good luck with your project. Making a RPG whole cloth is quite a challenge, but a fun one. I've been down that road many times.

It sounds more like you're modifying an existing system though. This one has been built specifically for ease of use - which is a far cry from the D20 system D&D3.5 and PF were constructed on.

I am. I've been designing systems for quite a while now. New ones, existing ones. I never out and out made a sourcebook though, so this is a first, and I plan to give it my best shot.

So have I, in fact. Plenty more than 15 years by this point. ::S:

    Good luck!

Some quick math shows that we've been hacking at game systems for about the same length of time. It's like... destiny.

    Or just a random thing.

Unfortunately, any time I've met somepony like me, I've only found that they would rather stick to their own methods, rather than attempt to join mine.

As I've abandoned D20 for the illogical mathematics and mechanics a long time ago, I unfortunately would not seek to join your methods. Rather, stay bent on my own.

I've constructed plenty of whole-cloth games.

But, I've started this project and I mean to see it through to the end. Would you really -want- to team up with a guy that would throw down his work so easily and run off to do something new?
