Greetings, ponies~! I have a quest divised for two very interested adventurers, and during this quest we will be testing the EPRP system's stability! I will be rolling all of the dice, (as usual,) but since character creation should be a lot simpler than the TwV system, I can actually leave all that up to my two players. Now, Legionbrony! I summon thee! PsychoPunk, I summon thee! Ahem... There is a tresure hunter known as Mishu who has recently uncovered an old ruins. Far south, beyond Dodge City, lies the Badlands. What makes them so bad? One might ask. Because no plants dare grow in its soil. During a trip into the badlands, following the rumors of an ancient temple to the elements, Mishu came across mysterious ruins that were locked by an old key, and guarded by skeletal pony statues. Her intuition told her that the ruins were special, and after researching; she knows now where they key lay. By chance, the two of you have been trying to find some form of adventure, and met Mishu in Dodge City. She, of course, promises a bounty of bits to brave adventurers who bring her back any relics or treasures. The scrolls and stories she's read point to the key being hidden amongst caverns near Neighagra Falls, far North - even by train. She promises to stay put in Dodge City while you find the key, reading and researching more about what may lie within. Of course, if that doesn't pique your interest, just let me know. Now, I'm currently working on classes for the system, so you'll be building your pony without it at first. By the time I get back to you on it, surely there will be some classes done. Let me explain what I need from you: Name: Gender: Age Group: Cutie Mark/Talent: Generalized talents (I.E. Musician,) will have lower bonuses to a wider variety of actions. Very specific talents (I.E. Plays Violin,) will have a very good bonus to that single action. The in-between would offer a moderate bonus to a small range of actions, (I.E. Plays String Instruments.) Race: Each Race has a different bonus to the stats, and their own two starting skills. The races are the usual... Pony, Draft, Unicorn, Pegasus. Pony: +2 Resilience, +2 Awareness, +1 Willpower, +1 Creativity, Cutie Mark Skill, and Worker passive, which will skills to have a chance to cost no stamina. Draft: +3 Resilience, +2 Willpower, +1 Creativity, Cutie Mark Skill, and Hauler passive, which allows them to pull objects without losing stamina. Pegasus: +3 Speed, +2 Awareness, +1 Creativity, Cutie Mark Skill, and Flight passive. Flight comes with the walk-on-clouds thing. Unicorn: +3 Willpower, +2 Creativity, +1 Awareness, Cutie Mark Skill, and Magic passive. Magic lets them... perform innate magic. Background: Please be sure to include city of origin, what got you into your life of adventure, and how you came to adventure together. Development, ponies. Now, when making your character, you get to distribute up to 18 stat points, but no single stat may be above 8. Stats that are 7 or more give you a pair of bonus skills for having that amount. Some classes require at least a 5 in their primary stat, so if you want to be a fighter, focus on ferocity, and if you want to be a mage, focus on willpower. Once you make your characters I should be about done with the classes, so I can then present them to you by what's available. Questions?

Name: Tex Gender: Male Age Group: Stallion (about 22 years old) Cutie Mark/Talent: A silhouette of a pony in a martial arts pose; Martial Arts master Race: Pony (+2 Resilience, +2 Awareness, +1 Willpower, +1 Creativity) Stats: 7 Ferocity 2 Resilience 7 Speed 3 Awareness 1 Willpower 4 Creativity Background: Tex (His real name is Texas, but nopony ever calls him that, because he hates it) is from Las Pegasus, and early on in life he got his share of fighting. He wasn't the biggest colt, and this drew bullies like flies to a carcass. One day, after he was especially beat up and lying in the street, a Zebra brought him to his home and patched him up. He'd seen what had happened, and offered to teach young Tex to ward off the colts that were hurting him. Tex, driven by a hatred for the fact that such a cruel thing as bullying even existed, trained himself day after day to his limit. The next time they came around, Tex left them in a stunned heap. They didn't bother him again, and Tex didn't stop there. He made it his personal duty to keep anyone from being picked on, and he often jumped into situations he couldn't handle when trying to protect another filly or colt. When Tex was 16 years old, he moved to a remote, small farming town, as his parents had wanted to do for a while now in order to get out of the rough city. The first day of school, to Tex's chagrin, he saw a little filly getting teased by her peers because of the runic markings on her coat. Fortunately he was able to stop them just by standing up for her, and the two quickly became friends. Several years later, this filly (Emerald) was growing up, and wanted to explore the wide world. She asked Tex about this, and, searching for some purpose in life himself, he agreed wholeheartedly, and they set off to have many exciting adventures together. ^ Not sure about this. ? Age Group: Young Mare (about 19 years old) Cutie Mark/Talent: A pattern of runes that glow and swirl around her body; She is adept in runic magic (drawing out the symbols that represent each spell, which adds potency to the spell, but can make them unstable if not done absolutely correctly.) Background: (this can and will be edited once Legion and I figure everything out.) Emerald grew up with her father in a small farming village. She was the only unicorn in the community of hardy earth ponies, and often wondered why. Her father told her that her mother was a grand magician, called on by Celestia to serve her court. What he tried to hide from her is the fact that her mother handled dangerous magic, and risked her life and those around her quite a bit, so to ensure Emerald's own safety, she had to be taken far away from her. Emerald was never known to be a content filly, and was more curious then her own good. She achieved her cutie mark after discovering a small runic spellbook that had been her mother's, stashed in her father's bedroom. The spells were absolutely enthralling, and Emerald knew that she'd found her passion. After her first spell-circle faded and colorful flowers sprung from the floor around her, the bright magic writhed around her small body and stained her dark fur with glowing symbols. Although her father was very disappointed (and very scared for his young daughter,) she continued to practice the runic magic, making it hard for the unicorn to make any friends. She was often made fun of in school for having a horn and wierd glowing markings, but a strange, older filly jumped from the crowd and stood up for her. He impressed her with his disciplined show of skill, and she started hanging around since the bullies would never come close to him. They became fast friends, learning to work off of each other's strengths and discover new things together. A few years later, Emerald started to itch for adventure, wandering out of town more and more often, and immersing herself in her studies for days at a time. After devouring every book in town, and hungry for new knowledge and tests of power, she left a note for her father, and convinced her old friend to leave with her. I put some basic classes in my blog. Those are just basic ones though, I'm working on more specialized one. Basic classes can be taken by anypony, really. Though I'm now thinking of swapping guard with a Work Pony class, and have Guard require higher Resilience. Not sure. Anyway... I'm working on Berserker, Martial Artist, and a few Mage pony classes.

I know, they all sound great!! I'm very curious about the mage classes (naturally.) Tex sounds awesome; I love the Karate Kid theme, honestly. This is definitely going to be fun. I'll prolly edit my background again just to touch it up and make it line up a little better with your own. Do you have an appearance for him yet I wonder? @Eight Star, you just have so many awesome OC pics!! I have to know; do you draw them yourself? I'm thinking of drawing one for my own OC, and I might just draw Eight Star too because he looks so rad.

No, I don't have an appearance for him unfortunately. Maybe I can draw one, or if I'm short on time (Which is more than likely) I can use the Pony Creator. ^^ I don't have a definite appearance yet anyways, but I'll figure it out. :3

Well, I know what Martial Artist gets. Requires 6 Ferocity and Speed. Skills: Choose One Warrior Skill, Choose One Bolter Skill, Limitless Counter Limitless Counter Type: Instant Cost: 5 Stamina Acquired: Martial Artist Class Can be activated after an enemy attacks the user. As long as the enemy is within melee range, the user gets to make an immediate attack against the enemy at -2 Ferocity. For every time this skill is used, another -2 Ferocity penalty is applied. The penalty resets when the user takes their turn.
