    I'd like to see an episode where Queen Chrysalis takes on the form of Twilight Sparkle and throws the rest of the Mane six's friendship into jeopardy. It would work particularly well as a season opener, where they think becoming an Alicorn has turned into an unlikeable character who looks down on the rest of the Mane six as mere peasants.

    6. More Princess Celestia & Princess Luna backstory.
    7. Episodes without Twilight Sparkle; give somepony else the limelight you attention *****. :p
