As of today my 4 year old Cat Sass is now sleeping, hit by a car outside my house a few hour ago (person drove off) She was such a lovely & affectionate cat! She will be missed! View attachment 3932
Awww I love cats. I had one that was subject to liver disease or something (She was about 17 years old (human)). It was a slow and painful way for her to go, so we had to put her down. I can't believe the nerve of some people, not caring about the cats well-being or the owners or anything. So sad to hear. I'm really sorry mate. cats make brilliant pets
I'm here for you rain if you want someone to talk to I know how it feels to lose some close to you if you ever want to talk.
This is why I hate people. I'm so sorry rain, I hope karma finds them. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
I generally despise cats, being a dog person that owns an awesome black chow chow mix. However, last year we adopted two kittens--one white, one grey. The white cat imprinted on me and I named him Lumi after my DJ friend's alias. That cat was so cool and would lay on my lap, and often times my keyboard. Sometimes I could get him to lay between my keyboard and monitor, but most of the time he just preferred the keyboard so he could be the center of attention. I eventually cleared off the right side of my desk and put a pillow there so he could lay out of the way, but he would still lay on my keyboard half of the time. And, he'd also go and jump in the window sill and watch the world. Sadly, while my uncle was out in the garage one night, he began to close it and walk inside. After hitting the button and turning to go in, the cat attempted to gauntlet the door and got crushed. T.T One of the few cats my uncle liked, even.
'Sorry to hear that man, I remember when I lost my dog to natural causes, but to have someone run your cat over and practically run off? That's totally unfair on you and your cat as well. I hope that they feel the guilt of what they've done for a long time. If you need to talk to someone, I'm here to understand and talk to you if you need me
That's a terrible loss, Rain. I've never owned a cat myself, but I think I accidentally hit one while driving down a highway. I've felt terrible and guilty ever since...Even though I think it was already dead since in the split second i saw it before hitting it, it wasn't moving at all.
Oh I am so sorry how can someone be that cruel. I can somewhat relate I lost my kitty to recently It was natural but it still hit me hard. I named her baby kitty because I could barely talk when we got her so I pretty much grew up with her she was always there living to be 21 she was slightly older then me.
So sorry for your loss. And they just drove off...? How horrible people can be. I don't wish harm to them, but I do hope they feel immense amounts of guilt. You've got the community's support if you ever need help or to voice any feelings you may have.
I'm sorry to hear that, I know what it feels like. My kitten got hit by a car one time. i was so sad.
I've lost many cats in the past and it's hard. Funn. . . Never mind not the thread to bring it up in. Still sorry for your loss, had to go through it like three times for myself.
People suck...I mean really?!Running over a cat..and not even stopping?! People like this shouldnt be allowed to breathe.
I'm so sorry about your cat It's never easy to lose a pet, especially if you've had them for a while. My cat(11months) was runned over on Sunday night right outside our house, my stepdad found her next to the trashbin the next morning.. Just think about the happy times you had. Hugs for you!
