    It's hard to tell but it does look more like a jump than actual flight. But it could be a sign of things to come in which Scootaloo will actually fly in a future episode! That would make my day complete!

    I examined it frame for frame. As much as I'd like to agree that she flew, the wings didn't move at all and there was in fact a slight arch as she traveled across the screen. I believe with her wings up, it helped her soar across the room and minimize the arc of a jump. Therefore, I've come to the conclusion that it was, in fact, a leap.
