We all remember the barking blue mare from Read it and Weep, but it got me thinking of something I found on YouTube a few years ago. There was a Ukrainian girl named Oxana Malaya who was apparently raised by her alcoholic parents' dogs. Oxana is a 'feral child' which means that, instead of acting like a human, she displayed many dog-like behaviors such as walking on all fours and barking. This is not uncommon. A child's personality is influenced by the friends and family that they spend time with. Growing up, most of my friends were dogs, cats, and horses. As a result, I have developed many habits that people view as 'crazy.'
