Spoiler: Summary The Cutie Mark Crusaders create a strong love potion in the hopes of making Cheerilee and Big Macintosh fall in love, but when they discover the serious side effects of their concoction, they quickly regret their actions. I have yet to watch it and am confused as to why there was an early release, unless I missed something. Anyways I'll watch it later today.
well, since topic is open: I have to say, this goes right into my top favorite episode. It's best CMC episode yet, and humor is great. idk why, but I think it was cute way Cheerilee and Big Macintosh acted to each other. And Sweetie Bell was awesome in this episode xD
Without spoiling too much about the episode in this thread, I'll say this. I definitley enjoyed it more than I thought I was going to.
I watched it and I'd have to say this is probably my least favorite episode so far. I don't know why- maybe because I don't like Valentines day or sweet talk. Personally, I always thought Big Mac and Fluttershy would make a nice couple...course they've never talk to each other so I can see a major flaw in that coupling LOL. Also- where were any of the mane six (besides Twilight) they could have added them in so many situations that would have been non-intrusive to the story but still at least featured them.
May contain spoilers. And I don't know how to use that hidden box thing. This episode was simply terrific. I think I was secretly aching for a love episode or something from sometime. Propably since Rarity's hopes got crushed at the Galloping Gala. Specially Big Mac. It was so... Out of him. Man, I ROFLed all the lenght of the episode... With my eyes on the screen, of course. And the noise he made when he nodded maniacally while choosing the jewels... It goes off a huge list. I think I'm going to rewatch it... Lol First Edit: Male derpy who loves tubs of jelly doing the first me gusta face on MLP. Epic. (Where is the part in which Derpy and Doctor Whooves are together?) Second Edit: Sweetie Bell's voice at the end of the song sounded so... Incredible. Like professional incredible. It was like, really really good. And... "Let me get this straight, you're talking about my brother?!" Third Edit: Yeti's right, SB's been awesome the whole song. And in the whole episode. Isn't it interesting she's the most active of the Crusaders at this episode? Maybe this relationates to Rarity's wish for a loved one as well. And so far, I only found derpy with a little filly. Fourth and counting: Is it Berry Punch's house he's dragging? :derpe: Poor Big Mac, he's as shy as a super hard working stallion can be. Fifth! Maybe I'm overdoing it... : If Big Mac's jumping like Pinkie Pie, does that means Pinkie Pie has always been in love with somepony? :Boo: Sixth. Man. That's way too much... : Pumpkin pie... And no letters have been written! This is an absurd!
trollTunes~ Anyway, enjoyed the episode a lot. I know a lot of fans aren't too impressed with CMC episodes, but the only one I thought was a "weak" episode was Call of the Cutie. And in my opinion, this episode was the best CMC episode so far!
Temptation is killing me! I must resist and wait till tomorrow. I'm definitely watching the marathon too, gotta set like 50 alarms.
I'm impressed by all the people who are able to resist watching the episode. I could never have that much strength and self-control. D:
Sugar cube, what is CMC supposed to mean? '-' Edit: I sincerely hope everypony who's resisting skipped my huge post back there.
This episode was a mix of "D'awwww" and laughter. I found this episode to be very funny. Up there in my favourites!
I was going to go more in detail of what I thought of the episode, but I'll wait till tomorrow when more of you have had the chance to watch it.
It's confirmed: Shipping is now cannon. I can't wait to see what the fandom does with this one I saw this in the stream: "Dear princess Celestia, We learnt that it's wrong to ship ponies together against their will, even if we think they look great in our heads. Your friends, The bronies." Very true. But yeah, great episode. I'd wanted to see more of both Big Mac and Cheerilee, but I wasn't expecting that!
Awesome episode! Well worth ACTUALLY WAITING! :derpe: It was both funny and cute at the same time, the perfect combination! I still have a feeling Cheerilee and Big Mac still like each other. And was I the only one that thinks the pony "strangely obsessed with tubs of jelly" looks like Derpy's long lost twin brother?
He's strong, not agile. Climbing out of a pit is a bit different then just carrying things around. Even as big as house. (Did I mention that house was Berry's?)
I found it to be an enjoyable episode, just enough humor to make up for the mooshy-ness. Spoiler: As usual, some of my favorite quotes Scootaloo: I think we need a bigger envelope. Applebloom: Wait a minute, let me get this straight, are you talkin' about my brother? Sweetie Belle: Oh Come On! Big Macintosh: You're my hearty smarty, smoochy woochie, baby waby! Cherrilee: Girls, can you explain why it looks like I'm getting married at the bottom of a pit!?
Well his weight could be a limiting factor for this. It's much easier to move a force horizontally then vertically as they aren't proportional. So I'd think he'd still have trouble. But I understand where you are coming from. Maybe making the pit deeper would have made a little more sense.
