His head is sliding lower and lower, and the ground very near him is all but ash. He is incredibly thin and his coat has flecks of white in it. Demon Bunny pops his head out of Stormblitz's hair. It is expected to have between 15 and 20 songs, even though the writers had envisioned more, and will include a musical episode centered around Pinkie Pie.[SUP][11][/SUP] Rarity will have her own episode, and Pinkie will also see an episode where her family, including her sisters, visits Ponyville.[SUP][11][/SUP] The writers will include references aimed at the adult audience, and will also include more appearances by the fan-named character Derpy Hooves.[SUP][11][/SUP]
I'm both excited and afraid for the return of Derpy. On one hand, i love her recognition ecause, in my mind, that is the clearest way for DHX to say, "Bronies, we recognize you and appreciate your support of us!" On the other hand, I'm afraid of the media backlash that could happen like last time. I also hope that Pnie's entire family is Pac-Man refences (her sisters being Inkie and Blinkie, with her parents being named Sue and Clyde) but if the books are indeed canon, then my dreams shall be crushed.
I've got no words for now. Still processing and getting a good opinion on things. I just hope that the concept of ''learning friendship'' won't be completly destroyed. And that the adult references will be worth it. As for Derpy and DJ-PON3, it is said they might be chosen to be singing. MIGHT. Fandom's reaction, don't kill us by over-reacting. AGAIN.

I'm not getting my hopes up myself. After how Hasbro has been reacting to pretty much everything, plus the ending of the third season, I have greatly lost faith in Hasbro's ability to do anything right. I hope that they do this well and don't screw it up any more, but I don't think they will. And yes, I know Hasbro is not really responsible for everything I'm annoyed with, but after Hasbro took over I just...didn't like it as much. The episodes seemed to lose depth and character development, and there was Twilicorn...which I dislike. And there are all the cease and desist orders all over youtube and the rest of the internet, shutting down wonderful fanmade things. So yeah. We'll see.
You know what? I'm going to stay optimistic about the new season for once, the writers have said that this season is going to be epic, so I'm looking forward to it. Also, Rarity gets an episode
Once I saw the animatic for "Apples to the Core" I was hooked completely ^-^ I feel optimistic, I'm thinking season 4 has excellent potential. Plenty of new songs to look forward to! I remember seeing a hint that Luna may even have a song in an interview I read on Equestria Daily! And yeah, that was a couple months ago and I consider it to be a show-creator dropping hints that are subject to change.. But STILL! How amazing would that be?! I might fly away on a cloud of joy And of course, "Equestria Girls" is proof enough that Derpy isn't going anywhere. Well, as long as they don't make her talk again anyway.. Seriously, why do so many people have to be all "Derpy should get her own episode and talk way more! And let's give her a song too!" ??? I mean, Lauren Faust said herself how she saw Derpy as a Harpo Marx-ish character, a silent gag character. I love how she worded that too, since I've always thought of Derpy in the way that Charlie Chaplin pictured his character, the little tramp. "If the tramp talks, he is dead." Derpy should remain the bubbly little Waldo of the show, charming us all without breathing a word. As long as they keep true to that aspect of her character, I believe we can look forward to her remaining on the show without any further controversy :derpe:
This! This completely! I want her to be back, but stay in the background as a cute little thing for us to find. That's what made us love her in the first place. She is perfect just like that, she doesn't need anything more to be special.
