http://family-room.ew.com/2013/03/1...dship-is-magic-returns-this-winter-exclusive/ Well, this is gonna be a nice long wait.
But has this actually been confirmed or is it just a rumor though that's what I want to know especially since both Season 2 and Season 3 both premired in the Fall?
Very interesting news and yeah it maybe a long wait but that adds to the thrill for me. I am def. looking forward to when it does come out and during the meantime I will continue practicing different things and possibly looking into more shows as well. Thanks for sharing Stridershy
I don't understand why it's airing/ premireing in the Winter when both Season 2 and Season 3 premired in the Fall.
As the first episode is usually splitted in two parts. Might consider waiting so i could watch them both in one go.
Well, considering this last season felt rushed to me (ESPECIALLY the first and last episodes) I'm okay if it means it doesn't feel like it's freight training to the end. ><
1. If you recall, the first episode of MLP in Season 3 was released in like, October. November is the start of Winter, so that's probably going to be when it begins to air, they wouldn't delay it too long I wouldn't have thought. Definitely not all the way to Q1 2014 anyway. We're probably looking at the beginning of Q4 2013 2. Bear in mind that Equestria Girls is a new series, with presumably the same voice actresses, and maybe even some of the animators/writers themselves. That's going to give them less time to work on MLP FiM. 3. It means they're giving themselves more time by pushing it back to up the quality. Also, if it runs through the Summer, we may even see some cool vacation episodes at the beach or something! I can't see any negatives other than having to wait a little longer for my fix of pony.
Nope, winter is December 20/21 (I SAY 21ST FOR BIAS IT'S MY BIRTHDAY REASONS) - February, Spring is March-May, Summer is June-August, Fall is Sept-Nov XD
Infinite loop! Ponies will never end! Solstices mark Summer and Winter, though some people will use them as a midpoint. Depends who you talk to. :derpe:
I can't wait for the new season! I already have some shows to keep me entertained until it happens, since they start premiering in the Spring. One of them has a unicorn, so it's not like I'll be completely equine deprived. The downsides I see to a long wait are random infighting among the fandom (worse than it already has been) over any leaks that might come about, the lack of ponies, and the musicians are going to slow down a lot with new music without some new episodes for inspiration. Some of the good things that will come out of it is that the bandwagoners might leave due to the long wait, just like a lot of them left during the Twilicorn thing. So the fandom will hopefully become more of a closely knit group again, like it was during the first season.
