So, we get a new episode next week... ...where Pinkie Pie visits Yakyakistan. She gets along pretty well with the Yaks, and Prince Rutherford even makes her an honorary Yak... ...but then a snow avalanche hits Yakyakistan. Pinkie wants to help, but Rutherford and the rest of the Yaks refuse every attempt by Pinkie to help them. So, what do you think of this episode?
YAKS APPROVE OF THIS EPISODE, DESPITE BEING UNSURE OF ITS MORAL! Seriously, I think this could be taken one of two ways: -You shouldn't have to ask friends to help you. When they realize you need help, they should just do it without being asked. OR -Sometimes a stubborn friend won't ask for help, so the best thing you can do is try to help anyway.
Very few episodes confuse me quite like this one. Was the moral to go behind someone's back and help them or that pride can get you killed? IDK what it is but I'm just not a big fan of the yaks. Of course part of that might be due to the fact that both of the yak episodes have also been Pinkie Pie ones. I think I can say this is one of the few episodes that I just didn't really like. Overall: 2/10 So since the show failed to cater to my extremely high expectations, I'm leaving the fandom... maybe... or not.
