Now I'm having to make the episode discussions? Come on, people... Just a joke. I really like this episode. Humor was spot-on (the jokes with Ember having to be right about Twilight and Starlight being the same character and Spike intruding on the male couple asking about a friendship problem killed me) and Ember and Thorax coming together like bread and butter in the end, I loved. Any dissenters? Any who agree? Post away.
Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that I will need to duck and cover to avoid the crazy amount of shipping I foresee coming from today. Spike needs to trust his friends more and Twilight seemed a bit cruel for letting him think he would be able to start a war... Starlight's demeanor may be rubbing off on her. Also, there seems to be a changeling revolt and they are reverting to feeding on love. You may want to quell that before it gets serious. Yours Faithfully, Dragonbait
A small reptile does his best impression of one of his mentor's freakouts and madness ensues! Oh wait, this isn't the Bad Explanations thread!! So yeah, I think Sparky's freakouts are contagious!! So cool seeing Ember again!! I think the overall vibe was nice, the humor was a bit predictable but still managed to make me laugh, and the message was good. Not a stellar episode but still an enjoyable one. Tidbits: Spike confirmed as a shipper! Also, since when does the map call the one who caused the problem? Maybe that's more of a nitpick but I think Sparky was more right than she thought when she said the map was really reaching out. Overall: 6/10
So, umm...why did the Cutie Map call Spike? And why did it call Starlight back in "A Royal Problem"? Unless I'm missing something, the Cutie Map is an extension of the Elements of Harmony. It's connected with the magic of the Elements of Harmony flowing within the Mane Six. That means only Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy should be summoned by the Map. Spike and Starlight are not Elements of Harmony, how can they be summoned by the Map?
Hey, she has emotions. She just doesn't show them as much. And in any case, look again. The map didn't call Maud. Also, the only member of the Pie family that I'd call psychotic is Pinkie.
