Have you noticed that this season has focused on developing supporting characters (Big Mac, Trixie, even Mrs. Cake and Mayor Mare)? Do you think this will continue into Season 8?
I would say it's focusing on supporting characters so much as it's focusing on the family and friends of the Mane 7 and Spike. I wouldn't be surprised if those relationships played a big role in the season finale.
