    Relevance? In a forum? That's silly! You must always set fire to the thread's topic and substitute your own! Like me, changing from avatars to server maintenance!

    Basically what ^ said, except I also need to mention that you also have to look into the software side of the deal, such as what server software you use, what admin mods you need, etc. This is probably the harder part of setting up a server.

    That really depends on what you have. Like any trading cards, rare or desirable cards are more valuable.

    There is a site that lists the resale values of Pokemon cards: http://pokemonprices.com/

    Keep in mind that you'll probably only get about half the card's value or less if you sell them to a game shop.

    Ebay might be a good bet if you've got anything valuable.
