Miss Golden Nugget, Equestrian diplomat would have gotten off the Pegasus driven carriage taking graceful steps and looking about the village. It, like all the others on the island were pretty basic, wooden huts, frightened and very primitively dressed ponies about, and tending crops, dirt roads that were nothing too standing out. The only spectacular thing about each town was the Town Hall. Each one was built differently, and almost certainly was built for the looks, Approaching Dawn's Hall was amazing! Even though it was made of just red clay bricks, it seemed to be almost a fortress, and each of the town's hall would look similar, so in that direction she walked, her light escort of guards in a loose formation around. "I was hoping for something like Canterlot~ Tall stone buildings, anything... civilized..."
Steel looked over at the new arrivals and approached them. He arrived a week prior to Golden and was already taking on the role as unofficial Head guard. Not like there was many guards in the first place. His armour unlike the others was Canterlot made steel and diamond while the west were made from hardened leather and crude iron some even fur. "Evening miss, Names Steel Heart. I arrived only a week ago now I'm head of town guards."
Nugget nodded to Steel, before giving a small bow, "Well hello to you Captain, I am Ma'am Nugget, former Jewller and current Diplomat of the Equestrian kingdomship. A pleasure to meet you" She gestures to the Guards around her, "I take it you are now the current officer over my current escort. And of that, I take it you are to give them the proper care and refreshment they have earned?" Of course, the village would have some sort of bar or tavern, albeit a very primative one.
"Why yes we do, the blurry night tavern is just over there. Yes we are quite primitive at the moment as were still waiting for some extra tools to improve mining and tree chopping. There's this large redwood forest just north of here each about the height of Canterlot castle tallest tower and we don't have the tools to cut through them. You don't so happen to have such supplies. Oh if you want less primitiveness better head to New Canterlot and avoid the verge. Rumours are going around its right next to a more dangerous everfree."
She nods, taking all this all in, "I am sure that New Canterlot is a much better place.. but I was ordered to aid in the public relation sand was sent here, so here I am to remain. Of course, we were sent in with a few more crates, there's probably some new tools, I wouldn't know" She shrugs, she was really more in the back, writing up a conversation instead of taking stock. "After my talk with the resident mayor of the town, or council? Whichever. I hope to dine with you, and converse over the City's progress. She then left him post haste, and went off towards the Hall, she seemed to be quite... rude in a political way!
Steel headed off getting his men to grab and unload the crates. two were filled pickaxes, lumber axes, anvil hammers (plus other blacksmiths tools) and Saw's. The other was filled with seeds of different kinds. He then ordered his men to deliver the tools and seeds to the farms and mines. Once that was done he looked over to the butchers. He didn't know how Feather would react when she found out that due to food shortages they had to revert to eating meat. Finally he left to the tavern for a well deserved drink.
Golden would be in the hall, and talking with a NPC about the status of the town, the mayor or chieftain of the town pretty much applauding the work of Steel, with Golden taking a keen interest in the plans for the town's future if it were still aligned with Equestria. Unfortunately, there was word that apparently another civilisation trying to ally with the continent's inhabiting town, namely in the Verge, be it the griffons! She though took it as a rumor and headed out of the Town Hall, pretty impressed and keen to look for Steel!
Zzerna arrived at New Canterlot and noticed right away that it was probably farther along, then most of the other tribes. She didn't know what to do, so went to the stone town hall. As well as wondering if this place, would soon be the capital of this new land. But said nothing all the same, for she knew not what to say.
Shermane hoofed it through the desert to reach the settlement he was assigned to. As he was pelted with sand from sandstorm around him, he easily understood why it was called "The Verge". He continued to trek through the harsh conditions till he saw a large mountain with a clay city carved into the side of it, with a long daunting looking staircase leading up to it. HE pressed forth, hoping that such a advanced society wasn't just a bunch of savages.
