So I've noticed posts seem to be a lot bigger than they need to be. This seems due to the fact signatures are placed under the post count regardless of post length. Here's what a blank Grey post would look like: And here's what I think it should look like: Many posts are simple and short. These posts would benefit greatly from this. Your second image stopped showing up. I've seen it though and agree with you (and the stretching is one of the reasons I currently don't use a signature, although that might change). I'm just not really sure what would have to be changed in the css to position signatures like that (although I have to say I've never been good at positioning divs).
Whoops. Fixed. I don't really know anything aside from HTML, and that's fairly limited too. I hope whoever's in charge of coding would be able to do it. ^ ^
I believe there is a fairly easy way to do it but it can make everything look a little cluttered on a full page of posts. I'll have a look sometime after I get back home (Friday)

Any further news of this because some pony's blank posts currently take up an entire screen on my monitor (900px) *cough*drd*cough* Doesn't help you could theoretically have a massive size signature and some ponies have large avatars and cutie marks. I mean I'm not even kidding when I say this post could fit into some member's signatures...

DRD, that's not really the kind of reply I expect on this site =/ Test, I understand entirely and I assure you now I've fixed up the database errors (touch wood) and EPR Media is coming close to being fully configurated I will be turning my attention back to general things like sig size and other 'trivial' issues. They are big and they will be dealt with at some point but it's not on the top of my ever growing list ;S
Ironically when I make a signature which hits the 400 character limit it is still a minute fraction of the size your signature gets to. I have a serious problem with having your 1-3 line posts taking up the entire page for me! Also: *facehoof*
I know, I'm sorry, it's just that I was used to the 1,000 character sig limit that I felt like I should go down to under 400 characters. :/ Anyways, I'd like to see if this idea could be implemented if possible.
