You may have seen these images somewhere in the forums (with the exception of the first and second image.) I just wanted to share my art with everypony~! If you have any reasonable and interesting requests, feel free to ask me! :3 I sketched, inked, coloured and rendered these two images today. Hopefully one day I can improve and become an exceptional cartoonist/graphic novellist/Anime artist or whatever you would describe my artwaork as. Of course, It's only a hobby! I would never dream of turning something I love into work. That way, It's all mine and I can do anything I want with it without pleasing an audience, client or making any alterations.
Nice drawings mate, purple your favourite colour by any chance? If I can offer one piece of advice, don't be afraid to have pure black/white areas in your shading. I see over and over again people tending to be too conservative with their shading resulting in their drawing looking a bit flat. Your shaping of figures is great though, I'm trying to draw my first pony at the moment I've already redrawn just the base pony shape ~15 times, slowly getting there. Looking forward to your next piece Dang! I wish I could work that fast. I think not turning what you love into your work a very good idea. I'm planning to make own website for my art soon, giving me the freedom to do what I want (I love the internet for that fact alone), if I happen to make some money in doing so then great but it won't be my aim.
Irnoic? I fail to see why, although it is the only image I used a reference for. Ponies laying down is still difficult for me to design. XD Thank you so much Yami! By the way I'd love to draw Thunder Roller and Sinderskull, that would be awesome. ^-^ Thank you for the advice! I experiment with new things like shading, but I should do it more often, I just fear ruining the image, although there's no harm in trying if it means I'll improve! And I'm sure if you continue to practise the amount you do, you'll be there in no time once you get the hang of it! As for working fast? Haha, maybe I do it too quickly, which is evidently a bad thing to do. Sometimes I don't take my time and rush images that could potentially have been better. But I'm slowly learning to take my time a little more. Thank you so much for your kind words and advice! I agree with you completely in saying earning money for a hobby would just be a bonus. :3 Good luck on the website, I'd love to see it up and running!
