well hello I'm kinda new here obviously um so about me i like mlp of course I'm in my senior year of high school my favorite color is red my favorite pony is Pinkie Pie my favorite episode is felling pinkie keen my all time favorite video game is viewtiful Joe I like to read and love to write I draw a bit and am learning to play guitar I free run a little when I get the chance I like just about all music especially metal and J-rock I'm not to fond of rap, country, western, or hiphop unless it is really good nothing wrong with them just not usually my cup of tea though I do love free style I don't own any pony merch yet but I've got my eyes on a shirt oh and if it's not to much trouble I'm doing my senior paper on why people like mlp so if you could give me a personal reason aside from the usual animation, comedy, ect. something that you like it for that most people don't bring up again if it's not to much trouble I would appreciate it so that's me glade to be here and hope you can except me
Welcome to the site! Very thorough in the intro, i like that :derpe: i know you'll love it here! As for why i like mlp: I was going through a really tough time in my life. I was pretty much living day to day, and i was seriously considering suicide. then i found the community, and the happiness was infectious. The fandom really lifted me out of my depression, and though i still havent even gotten close to figuring out my life, Id say i owe a vast majority of the happiness i feel to ponies. i owe my life to it.

Most of the reasons are those that are commonly mentioned. ._. So I don't think I can be of much help there. I'm sorry. :/ The community, on the other hoof, would be a different story.
Hi Idle, I think your fitting in quite well here. Enough hello's yet? I think the reason I like My Little Pony is because of all the worthless crap that is on TV these days. TV has gone so far down hill since the 90's that I have given up on TV completely. My Little Pony however has been just the opposite. Friendship is Magic is undoubtedly the best incarnation of My Little Pony. It is a show that has great characters and voice actresses and is so much fun to watch. There may be positive messages in the shows, but the shows are all about the fun and humor first. It seems like nobody will consider anything funny any more unless it involves someone getting hurt, homosexuality, or lots of cursing. My Little Pony is far more entertaining and has none of those negative things.
