Hi, I'd like to comment about my path to get here, to these forums. I realize that it seems really pretentious for a new brony like me, freshly joining the herd, to comment on a community issue like this. I'm sorry but I think this is important. As a new brony, I found the videos easily enough and searches led me to various articles which led me to ponychan and Equestrian Daily. However, those venues seemed for artists and writers, and I'm not an artist and I do write sci-fi but not fantasy. I spend a lot of time on many forums, so I knew that there simply had to be a fan forum... but I couldn't find any. I really, really tried hard... google "My Little Pony forum" and you'll see what I was up against. Collector forums, and really really long locked threads on unrelated forums. I kept hitting dead end after dead end. By some stroke of luck, I found one lone spam ad post that was locked, but not deleted. Now I'm on forums, but really that was way too hard. I've seen this difficulty happen before, way back when the Magic: The Gathering game was hot. I, like many others, had a site dedicated to MtG, but it was hard to find sites back then, there were no big search engines. Those around would hit on other 'magic', like stage magic. It was like we were isolated islands. The solution came from the community, we began to all have webrings and 'Link Exchange' pages. I don't know if webrings are still used anymore, it's old tech that younger surfers would not even know. I looked for a FiM ring, only found pony collector rings. So it seems to me that all brony sites and forums should adopt that older but tested method of link exchange pages, so that if a bronie finds one site, they find them all. It was the first thing I looked for everywhere I went, but never found. I feel strongly about this, but I'm way too new and inexperienced in the community to actually do anything like this. Somepony has to champion the cause of link exchange, everywhere. Every pony, be it mare or stallion or filly or colt... should be connected, hoof to hoof. Will somepony take up this cause, please? I agree there should be a "one herd" ring. i didn't/don't know any other sites exist until someone mentions them. :-/ That being said, i'm not good at any tech stuff...so i'm not your pony. :-/

Huh... You know... I don't really know HOW I got here. ._. Either way, I guess right now I'm good, having a place for news and a place for forums... I can't think of anything else I'd want. XD
I was lucky when I got here... was new to bronydom by about 3 days or so. Then I googled "everypony" on google. Pretty simple, right? But I know what you mean, it can be hard to find the Brony sites you're looking for.
I agree, there should be an easier way for new ponies joining the herd to find all the Friendship is Magic-related sites. I wouldn't be surprised if there's one or two I don't know about yet! I myself can't even remember how I found this place.
That's exactly how I found this place. One faithful day I decided to google words related to the show, and one of them was "everypony." This forum was the first result. After I clicked the link, I quickly noticed the link to EPR, which intrigued me. I thought, "A radio with pony songs? How many can there possibly be?" I quickly learned there are quite a lot, and never looked back since.
