So if you didn't know I Tunes messed up and posted Scare Master instead of Made In Manehatten. They fixed it later in the day but video daily motion already grabbed it and posted it up. I watched it already, I don't know if you did or not but this is the spoiler section anyway. I just had to say.... oh man the references I never expected! I just had to take this screen shot and share it with someone, anyone really! Fluttershy made these decorations. From left to right these references are to Sailor Moon, Neon Genasis Evangeleon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Dragon Ball Z, and Ranma 1/2. A few of those maybe I could see.. but Eva and especially Ranma just had me very surprised (given Ranma's genre is a mix of eichi comady and martial arts fighting). These weren't hidden either, they were brought to attention (though they didn't say what they were referencing of course). Fluttershy basically said they were uninvited guests, which is pretty funny (it made sense in context. She was trying and failing to make her cottage scary because she thought scaring ponies would be a little easier for her then being scared and was trying to get the corage to do something for nightmare night.)
Technically that Bulma is from just plain Dragon Ball. as she never used that style again during Dragon Ball Z. Also the manga was always know as Dragon Ball anyway. Still it's cool to see Ranma in the mix. I mean Sailor Moon has been referenced before, but Ranma? I wonder if these are actually ponies she's know, or if she's an avid Manga reader. Spike read comics, why can't Fluttershy read Manga. Slightly surprised she'd read Shonen, but nothing says she can't.
Oh yeah...Cute. I can't believe I didn't notice before. I just brushed it off as being kinda cute before.
