The birds sang, the ponies trotted around and the castle shined as always. The mane 6 where gathering at the castle since the map called them... but this was not their story. Beside the castle lived a small pony named Shining Star. She was an astronomer that worked hard and was quite cute most of the time. She had a silver mane and a yellow fur. This day, she walked out of her home and went into town. "Ahh, what a lovely day." She sighed as she trotted out of her house
In a house close to Canterlot, Saber Trip was playing her banjo for her adoptive mother. Her mother smiled, even though she couldn't stand to hear the strange beat. Saber finished playing the song, and asked, "So what do you think?" Her greenish blue mane waved in the breeze against her bullish grey fur. "Eh.. Lovely dear." replied her mother. Not like she could walk away, being confined to her bed.
Star went to the train station that day. She had to go to Canterlot for an interview to be accepted at the royal observatry. She the train that morning and left for Canterlot.
"Thanks mom." Saber kissed her mother on the cheek, and said "Sorry mom but I have to go now. Your new nerse should be here in a few minutes. I'll see you tonight, ok?" "Alright dear, just be careful now." "I will" she replied on her way out the door. She had been receiving letters from a pen pal, and had plans to meet her by the royal observatory.
Star got off the train as it soon arrived. She looked around at the city, smiling. It was really impresive! She then started walking towards the observatory.
On her way into Canterlot Saber found a few bits on the ground. Before her visit with the pen pal, she walked to the market and visited with her mothers old caretaker. "Hi Red, how's retirement?" she asked. "Oh not to shabby. The shops making me bits, and the wife is spending 'em" replied the old stallion.
Not so far from there, a yellow mare with a silver mane walked nearby. She looked lost and had a map on her hooves. "Uhm, excuse me. Do you know whete the observatory is?" She asked them
Saber turns around to see a small pony with a map. "Yeah sure, but I'm not good at telling directions" she warns. Red turns away to help som customers. "Hello, what can I get you today?"
"Is alright. Can... you lead me there? J dont get this map...." she said, though she had it upside down.... still, it was cute.
"Ok, let's go." she told the cute pony. Leading the her through the streets she asked"so what's your name? Mine is Saber Trip."
