((... Literally no idea what I'm doing, but whatever! WOOOOOO, throwing Mat at things.)) The red stallion called Mat Joker was actually not at his home in Ponyville today. He had taken a bit of a interest in hanging out at a hayburger joint. Mainly because the hayburgers were amazing and he was hungry. He was pretty much tearing into a hayburger, eating rapidly inside a booth by himself. His face was pretty much covered in ketchup, as he continued to gulp down the delicious food, pausing to take a giant drink of his soda.
It was at that moment that a young pegasus strolled in. She had an indecisive look on her face, along with tired eyes that still seemed lively. There was nothing significant about her; just an average pony looking for lunch.
Mat finished eating the hayburger, taking a look over at the young pegasus that trotted in. He took a drink of his soda, just looking around the rest of the restaurant, thinking quietly to himself.
After the mare ordered, she looked around for a seat. Finding none, as it was a busy day, she turned to head for the door.
Mat was sitting at the booth by himself, he pointed over at her with a hoof, "Hey... you can sit here if you want."
Starry looked over and smiled lightly before walking over and sitting down. "Thanks.. I'm Starry Scene. And you are?"
Mat chuckles, "... Truthfully, I'm not really a castle guard or whatever, I do my own special missions. I've got my own goal in mind anyways."
Mat drinks the rest of his soda, "... Protect as many ponies as I can, especially the ones that are closest to me. That's the main goal."
Starry stood up, done with her food. "Well, unfortunately I have to head back to work. I'm on break, hehe."
"I'm an astronomer. I'm currently working in an observatory on a hill by the Everfree. Although there's nothing going on right now since it's only daytime."
