    Another forum I don't really frequent any more has this thread, and I think it could be very important over here.
    If you are feeling suicidal and need help, please remember that the members at Everypony are not trained for such an emergency. A suicide hotline can save your life.

    Read this: http://www.metanoia.org/suicide/

    If you are feeling suicidal before you do anything else. If you do not feel like talking to someone but need to get it out, use thishttp://thequietplaceproject.com/thethoughtsroom/

    The information below is accurate to the best of my knowledge; do notify me if you find a mistake. If you call one of the numbers and it does not work, please get the help you need from another hotline or your country's emergency number (in the U.S. and Canada, call 911; in the U.K., call 999 or 112; in Australia, call 000; in the E.U., call 112). All hotlines are now under a spoiler.

    International

    Go to www.befrienders.org and choose “International.” A drop-down menu allows you to choose your country and find a helpline. In the United States, you get a further drop-down menu that allows you to choose by state.

    Or go to http://www.suicide.org/international-suicide-hotlines.html and scroll down until you find your country’s link.
    The Support Line As said above, this forum is not a replacement for professional help in any way. We strongly encourage you to see a doctor, call a hotline, speak to someone physically close by, if you are having problems with self harm, suicidal thoughts, or are having issues that are interfering with your day to day life. However if you need someone to talk to, someone to listen to you, someone to vent to, or just need some friendly advice, the following people are willing to lend an ear and help you out if you so need it. If you wish to be added to this list, post here that you would

    bumped for usefulness;

    I myself have been in this situation and know first hand what it's like to be alone and afraid, afraid of what others think, what others might do, or feeling like burden, or feeling like you don't fit in. The world is a terrible awful place sometimes; and it's okay to feel like there is no hope. I'm not gonna say that you have no right to be upset and that there's an easy way out... but I can tell you that there is a way, and it doesn't have to include hurting yourself. You've got nothing to lose by trying, by talking to someone; whether it's a professional or a close friend. If you are at this point, society has failed you, and it's hard, but you need to know that it's not your fault and there are things you can do to make it better, there are things you can get help with from the larger community. Give life a second chance, and I promise that you won't regret it. There are so many options out there, and things are getting better. It may not feel like it now, in this crazy time we live in, but there are major changes happening and the older you get the more you get to take advantage of that opportunity.
