ok lets start shade stood over what remained of canterlot. only a few months ago everything was fine. no on even had the thought in their mind that this was going to happen. the shops have all been looted for their supplies. even the castle was looted. this would have never have happen if the princesses didn't mysteriously disappear. with no form of government everything turned to caos. this is why shade has formed the equeastrian peace force. the force was made of the ones who believe they they can return equestria to its formor glory and do anything to do it. luckily they were able to get some supplies from the castle and various stores. in the castle they were also able to find the princesses crowns which shade will hold on to just in case. they would be moving out of canterlot in the morning to ponyville to try to find recruits.
Morrow kicked the whimpering stallion. "Don't. Mess. With. Me." she snorted, and walked away, a knife in it's sheath, her bag of money hooked onto her belt. (I might be thief instead. That OK?)
yes it is shade got up from where he was sleeping and looked around. other than him only a few others were awake. all of them still looked tired. shade looked up at the sun. judging by the position it was almost noon. his muscles were stiff from sleeping on the ground the entire night. this is the way it was going to be for a while. while walking across the camp shade over heard some of the conversations going on between the other. most of them were about what they were going to do as soon as they brought equestria back. seeing his second in command sitting by his tent he walked over. shade had rescued him from a collapsing building in canterlot. even though roger was't his real name he prefeared to be called by it and shade respected that request. together they came up with the idea to start the peace force. he was not well built muscularly but he was smart. "You sleep good last night roger?" asked shade while sitting down next to him. "not really. i miss using an actual bed," he replied. "same here," shade agreed. "so you think ponyville will be better than canterlot was?" roger asked as he watched birds fly over the trees. "there's no telling about what it looks like. it could be burned down for all we know," shade said. honestly shade had no idea either. if it did manage to not fall apart what they do. they had no money. the force has gotten all of their supplies from looting. he didn't want it to come to thievery. "Rodger, wake up the others and lets start packing," shade commanded. roger gave a nod and got up to issue the orders.
Morrow examined the daggers she got from the pony. They were sharp and light, with jewels inlaid into the silver. She walked until she found a group of ponies in front of her. "Crap.." she muttered, and backed up, trying not to be seen.
Haze was in the corner of her room, crying. Everything had turned to chaos. The others in town had gone crazy, damaging others property, nicking others stuff... No. There was no "Property"any more, no one was entitled to anything. People just took. Her house was trashed by looters, her food and valuables were stolen, and there was no-one to help her. The town was quite quiet now, the others had left. There was nothing left to want here in this town, not now. And so long as Haze remained here, she wouldn't be safe from those who had stayed- She could hear voices echoing through the town. She couldn't trust anyone any more- They only cared for themselves... The only way Haze could be sure to be safe would be to keep on the move, until she found a place nobody would ever go. Haze picked up what was left of her possessions, and left. She walked in the shadows, so she was less visible, and as she walked- In any direction- She looked around the town she once loved.
Morrow managed to avoid sight. She turned and ran down an abandoned alley, running smack dab into a red pony with a yellow mane.
Rashall stood underneath the tree where he was camped. He had originally thought of seeking suplies, but instead relied more on his instinct and decided to stay near his tent.
when shade saw the sight of ponyville he was dazed. it looked just like canterlot. only here there were ponies. though he couldn't see them he heard them. when he looked at roger he was just as dazed. "i thought it would look better," he managed to say. shade just looked at him and said nothing. he told the others to stay behind and sit watch before he entered ponyville. a building seemed to have been just set on fire in front of him. he managed to tell it was the town hall. there was blood on they ground. ponies were on the ground either unconsious or dead. he couldn't tell. on one of the bodies he found a shortsword which he then decided to keep. he was a skilled fighter without one but he could use it if attacked. shade shuddered at the sight of one of the bodies being his. after scouting for supplies he then returned to the others to tell them how bad it was.
Haze found herself practically nose to nose with a crème pony. She had just started, and she'd already been detected! She was surprised by the suddenness of the situation, and without thinking, turned tail and legged it. There'd be no telling what that pony might want of her, and looking at just how down-hill everything'd gone, she knew to avoid finding out. She spread her wings mid-sprint, and began flapping.
Morrow, equally frightened, jumped, and backed into the alley way. She backed into a brown stallion with a sword. He grabbed her by the neck, and pressed the sword to it. "What have we got here?" growled the stallion, eyeing her money pouch, while Morrow struggled. Even though she was a worthy fighter, this pony was too strong. Her mind growing blank, she screamed, "Somepony, help! Please!"
when shade finally got back at camp he was told that one of the solders went missing. around that time he heard screams coming from behind. most others just thought that it just someone being robbed but shade wanted to investigate. the one in screaming could be a possible new recruit. he then decided to have roger and a few others look for the one missing while he went to investigate the screams.
Morrow say the grey pony at the end of the alley. "Oh, please! Help me!" The stallion looked up at Shade, and sneered. "Get out of here, buddy. This isn't your concern."
shade walked off seeing that there was a way to get behind the stallion. as he crept behind him he made sure to stick to the shadows knowing that his coloring will offer some camouflage. when he close enough shad slid he short sword around the stallion's throat. "its sad how you let your guard down. if you don't drop the sword im afraid ill have to kill you," shade threatened. the stallion dropped the sword and ran off. shade didn't want to have to kill him and thankfully he didn't have to. he doesnt think it should come to killing but if he has to he will do it.
Morrow grabbed her throat and gasped. "Thank... you... I.... couldn't... fight...... He... was.. too.. strong.."
" i don't blame you for not being able to fight back. if i would have attacked him head on he was probably to strong for me too," shade said while putting his sword away. "there are already enough who have died. there is no need for another."
Haze had flown around the corner, and hidden herself behind a nearby roof. She was un-aware of what had happened, although she'd heard some echos of screams coming from the alley's direction. Haze was unsure what to do. She couldn't go by ground any more- It was too dangerous. She thought back to the pony she had seen. Maybe she knew where she was going? Haze swooped from one roof to another, all stealth-like, and got close to the area she'd seen the pony. Haze might find something of value by following these guys. She'd just have to go unseen. Haze hid behind a roof nearby, making sure she was completely out of view. She listened. There was another pony now! She listened to them as they talked. ((I'm a spy and imma spy))
"Well, thank you for helping me." Morrow handed Shade 10 bits, and hurried away. She ran towards the Everfree forest, hoping to get back to her hut by nightfall..
shade looked at the bits. he didn't see how they'd be any use but he held on to them anyway. when he got back at camp he didn't tell anyone about what happened. they found the missing solder but he was dead with his body looted.
From where Haze was sat, the action seemed to be over. She peered around the corner, to see them both separating. The crème pony was running off into the Everfree forest- Maybe there was something in there of interest? Haze followed behind, silently drifting through the tree branches behind the pony, pushing herself from tree to tree. She hid still, making sure not to reveal herself...
Morrow walked in the forest, and looked around nervously. She ducked her head under a root and disappeared.
