Don't mind the fancy title, I just love alliterations. I'm gonna be posting any and all OCs of mine here, one at a time. Information will be expanded with time, characters will be added, and borders will be crossed (not sure about that last one, it sounded edgy.) Also, by the way, all backgrounds for characters were not just made up but were also played out. For example, Tuner actually did have an RP with Vinyl Scratch and did date her for a short time, like his bio explains. It is not meant to be super unique or Mary-Sue-ish, but merely states what actual RPs impacted his life. Tuner Symphon Gender: Male Race: Pegasus Age: 19 Height: 5'0" Weight: Very lean, strong muscles in his back legs. Current Citizen in: Ponyville Hometown: Unknown General physical appearance: Tuner Symphon is a very typical looking pegasus stallion. Standing a bit shorter than most other males, he is moderately built muscle wise, although extremely lean. He has particularly strong back legs, mainly from his specified habits, hobbies, and jobs as a colt. His face is normally very energetic and light-spirited, giving out a peaceful aura whenever he is in a good mood. His eyes are dark green with a small strike of cyan, usually the centers of his pupils burning with some passion inside of him. Typically, while seen in his work mode or DJ mode, he wears a confident smirk with focused eyes. His mane is unstyled and a bit unkempt, notable by a small cowlick on his right side. It's spiked forward and pressed down, striped with light blue and light green. His tail is quite similar, with large amounts of green and a single blue stripe. His mostly red cutie mark contrasts the calm blue of his body. The musical staff demonstrates his aptitude in music while the meteor represents either his animated personality and energy or his ability to animate, although it's been debated. Personality: Tuner is quite often called a bit eccentric, although his favorite version of that opinion is, "absolutely stark raving bonkers," as his marefriend says. He's normally the one to do something off the wall, although he does have half a brain so won't do anything that could easily potentially harm him. He's also known to be a bit full of himself, but not to the point of egotism. Normally very friendly to strangers (sometimes too much so), he is extremely outgoing, energetic, and known as the heart of the party. Of course, that's one reason why he became a DJ. His two ancestors that can be linked to him are a bard and a knight, solidifying some of the traditions his family holds and also their morals. Tuner stands by a strict moral code, extremely similar to the long-forgotten code held by noble knights. He never strikes another with a weapon unless the target has a weapon themselves. He will always put the being of others before himself. If conflict or death can be avoided, he will always take that path. In fact, his dedication to this code comes to a fault, restricting him from possibly solving a problem in some more drastic manner. His mother (pegasus) was a keyboardist while his father (unicorn) was a violinist. They traveled constantly due to their need for financial support, and the main way they could do this was to put on shows in different cities and towns constantly. Neither of the two became famous, although they were well-known in the areas they visited frequently.[/FONT] [FONT=lucida grande, tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif]According to family history, Tuner's long line of ancestors all had a musically related talent and cutie mark. Due to this, although his childhood, he attempted to get his cutie mark by trying nearly every instrument, technique, and skill known to music. Quickly failing at each and every one of them, he soon moved on his quest for a cutie mark to many other things, such as sewing and even swordsmanship. Swordsmanship was the closest he got to finding his talent early on, as he was quite adept at it, but he wasn't good enough to dub it a talent. Later, Tuner found out that this aptitude may have come from his lineage with knights centuries ago.[/FONT] [FONT=lucida grande, tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif]The longer Tuner's father witnessed his continued failures, the more he grew disappointed in him, especially with his failure in music. He wasn't harsh to him, but he would constantly slip out something condescending or harsh to the colt. The constant depreciation from his father caused Tuner to develop a sort of over-confidence around his peers, although his esteem was deeply wounded. Shortly after his mother struck lucky and got into a high-salary band, Tuner moved out on his own where he traveled by himself. While visiting areas he traveled to as a kid, he was normally treated with sympathy and given a place to stay and some food to eat. For the first year or so, he was merely surviving, but not living. However, that ended the day he experienced his first electronic concert. He was invited to go with a friend while he was staying in Seasaddle (pronounced similarly to Seattle). He witnessed one of DJ PON3'S first gigs. The electronic era was just sliding in, with Vinyl leading the storm, and this was the first time Tuner had heard electronic music. After the concert, he was so ecstatic that he ran backstage without permission and was nearly arrested. However, the famous DJ told the guards to lay-off and the excited fan to sit down. Vinyl Scratch began teaching Tuner how to create electronic music that moment. After a few minutes of awkward fumbling, the blue stallion started to get into rhythm and figure out the instruments and tools in record speed. It felt natural to him. He of course couldn't reach the DJ's skill over-night, but he was well on his way to become an electronic producer star from that one night. (The two actually got together for a very short time before resorting back to friends quickly. They still talk to this day.) He quickly began his life as a producer by buying tools he needed with the small amount of money he had left. He began producing, DJing, and remixing as soon as he could, and started to build a small fanbase. He DJ'd small gigs for a long time until one faithful night. He was in Fillydelphia, traveling with Vinyl Scratch as a close friend while she was on tour. However, when it came her time to get on stage, she was nowhere to be found. With no one else to turn to, the managers sent out Tuner, which they knew had at least some experience. Although nervous at first, Tuner (known as DJ Symphonic while on stage) entered one of his natural habitats and rocked the party nearly flawlessly. During the performance, his cutie mark appeared, not noticed until later. When questioned where she was, Vinyl Scratch stated "I had a killer craving for some tacos." It commonly is accepted though that she left to enable Tuner to DJ, somehow able to predict that something big was about to happen. After Tuner's father heard of his cutie mark, he bought the stallion a studio to record in and nearly all of the equipment he needed to become a sustained producer. He began making song after song, quickly gaining popularity due to his appearance at the big concert and his unique style. He settled down in Ponyville because of the small town feeling and the relaxing atmosphere to counter his usual hyper atmosphere at clubs. After another year, Tuner was invited to DJ for an after-party for the Wonderbolts. Not willing to let this chance slip through his hooves, he quickly accepted. While at the party, he met all of the Wonderbolts. One in particular caught his attention, Blitz Lightning Streak, a blue coat, yellow mane mare. They began talking extensively at the party, and shortly after, began dating. A few months later, they were married. They both reside in a large house near the edge of Ponyville, fairly close to Tuner's club, "The Fog's Heat."[/FONT]
