personally i like it, the concept of Derp is a flashy word for Clumsy, confusing, or even stupid and derpy's voice put out allot of confusion which is exactly what Derp is all about
I know, it's so strange that she didn't know that before voicing her. Maybe since Derpy's voice is only slightly boyish, it went through without anyone questioning it.

I think so too. Her voice fit, at least for me. If she does get any more speaking lines I hope they have her keep the same voice. That'll always be Derpy to me. :derpe:
I originally thought Derpy was male also. I was informed before this episode that she was female though. Then again, does it really matter? Also I thought the voice sounded more female than male.
