The doors of the houses around her were shut tightly. No one, it seemed wanted to be out in the harsh winter. She wouldn't normally be surprised, but Hearth's Warming Eve, she assumed everyone would come out to the streets.
It was cold out, but Mary didn't mind. After all, she was totally unaffected by the cold because of her vampire and werewolf blood. Normally, she would be in her room at this time of day, writing deep and meaningful things in her diary and listening to emotional music. Today, however, she decided to go out for a walk, because she wanted to show off the expensive necklace that her best friend Princess Luna had given her as thanks for saving Equestria again last week.
