Steel Heart was sitting in an abandoned derelict building in the back alleys of Canterlot. He and a bunch of other Students had bought this place for less than 2000 bits and seeing as how most Canterlot buildings were priced around 10,000 he could see why. The floorboards were creaky and rotting, the wallpaper peeling and the windows boarded up. He gathered the students who he was sharing the building with up preparing a short speech. "Friends, the day is drawing ever near. This house will revive itself through our work and Princess Luna shall be proud. Decorate this place with banners of our cause let us sleep in the walls colored like our one true ruler. We will succeed in this task and we shall free Luna from the dungeons shackles at Midnight on the day of the winter solstice."
(Tell me if I'm doing this right, this is a little awkward for me :-/, I also read about your character and its funny. You said his IQ was 139, that's mine... exactly!) Blade slowly sat up and went to the table of supplies with the other ponies as he picked out the materials he wanted to use to start decorating. After he had got them he got up and started decorating the lonesome room. Glaring out the windows of the building as he thought about how great eternal darkness would be.
Steel approached Blade and smiled. "You don't believe that eternal night propaganda bull do you?" He smiled before grabbing the steamer so he could get the wallpaper off easily. "Whats your name anyway. I havent got a chance to talk to everypony yet. what are you studying at Royal canterlot university or are you a South Canterlot uni student"
"My name is Sapphire Blade, but you can call me Blade." He said to Robin. "And to be honest, I haven't heard too much about that." He said with a grin. "To answer that last question. I go to Royal Canterlot. I'm studying magic. Royal Canterlot teaches magic better in my opinion, but don't mistake for one of those fancy nancys that learn about time travel and ageing spells. I am not like that. I prefer to practice the arts of stealth, silencing your opponents and invisibility."
"Perfect, better get to a room before they are all gone." Steel headed off upstairs to his room where he began removing all the wallpaper and replacing it with the already laid out navy blue wallpaper. While another student laid out the new wooden floorboards.
"Hmmm..." Blade thought as he looked for a relatively flat area to lie down for the night. "If they want a room to sleep in that's fine by me. I'd rather have the stars overtop of me. Its much more peaceful that way. At least I don't have to sleep with bedbugs." He smirked at the thought as he started to lay out his bedroll.
As days went on and the inside improved faster than expected. Steel felt the time was right to push forward the break out of Luna for that night. He informed his two roommates who then informed everyone else. Steels plan was coming together perfectly, the Princess would surely be thankful that at least some still serve her after 150 years of imprisonment.
(I see you've changed your RP name ) Blade (as usual) was one of the last to get the news. "Might as well start to get ready." He said to no one in particular. He threw the cowl of his cloak over his head and started to pull out his kunais and a whet stone. Carefully he sharpened each one. He sharpened the middle one extra though. This was the one that he had poisoned and so it had an ever so faint greenish tint to it. After he had finished he pulled out his katana and sharpened that as well. "Good enough... for now." He thought. Slowly, he walked over to the corner of the room and leaned against the wall. His cloak and coat making him seem to disappear in the blackness and navy blue of the walls.
(I have way to many OC's to keep track of. Also time to see how well you can handle doing your OC and a few other students. When the break in happens, you'll be with one group of five im with another.) Steel grabbed his personal Dirk as well as a replica Night guards armour. Who were now lost replaced with your regular Solar guard. He then chucked a Broadsword over to Eclipsed Crescent and a Crossbow to Scarlet Bolt. Once they were kitted up in the average hardened leather and steel hunting gear. They then left under the cover of darkness alongside to others, Moonshine and Serenity hope. Both of whom had little to no combat experience much like everyone else. "Once Sapphires team is ready we will move out. He certainly seems the most combat ready out of us all."

"Steel has trusted us to infiltrate the castle from the side with the hedges. Steel is going to go through the front gate and cause a distraction (If you're not okay with this just say so ) while we slip in through the side. There are going to be a lot of hedges in the way so let me lead the way so I can cut them down." He said as he flipped his kunai. "Obviously once we're inside we won't need to act as suspicious. Often times, if you don't act suspicious no one will think you ARE suspicious." He waited to emphasize the point. "Once we are inside we are going to be tasked with reaching the top of the dungeon tower unnoticed. That's why we have these." He said as he through the 3 ponies a pack. "They have a grappling hook, a cloak, and a knife." "What good are knifes going to do against guards with swords?" Asked Jack. "Not much." Blade replied honestly. The point is to get in there, assassinate her guards, wait for Steel, grab Luna, and get out!" Jack nodded his understanding. "If something does happen I'm going to have to go help him, well we better go get into place. When you hear the fighting start I'll give the word and you follow me, got it?" "Yes!" (We aren't going for Celestia, at least not yet. Instead we are simply going to free Luna from the dungeons with a few dead guards on the way. So change that replacing top of Celestia's tower to top of the dungeon tower and things will be good) "Okay, we are on the move." Steel and his squad, now named Team Bravo set out under cover of night. heading mainly through the Slums of the West district. "The homes of the poor and unwanted. This will surely be on a list of renovation once Luna is appointed." Moonshine said as they walked through unnoticed until they came to the palace gates. "Guys, you know what to do. FOR LUNA!" the roar of him and his compatriots could be heard across most of the royal district and West district as they clashed blades with the gate guards. Signalling Sapphire and his team.

Blade led the way hacking down the hedges with his poisoned kunai. The poison withering away the green shrubs with ease. Ruby, Jack, and Leeroy followed behind him, respectively. Slowly, they made there way into the castle grounds. "Take cover!" Whispered Jack. "There are guards at 10:00." He further explained. "How did you see them when I didn't!" Exclaimed Blade. "Well I-I used my horn to allow me to see during the night." He said shyly. "Stupid smart ponies..." Said Leroy sadly. "Well, we still don't know what to do now! We're kind of trapped." Said Jack glumly, brushing off what Leroy had said. "Not exactly. Hey Ruby! Fly up and scope out the area. I need to know how many there are, how far away and what weapons they have. We'll wait here and I'll think of a plan." Blade replied. Looking glumly at the situation they were in. "Okay replied Ruby as she shot up into the sky." She wouldn't have been seen by the guards, and they would never see it coming...
Steel fought off the guards one by one and before he could finish off his 8th one he spotted Ruby in the distance. When he returned back he was gone, running back into the castle shouting that the Night guards have returned. Just then more heavily weaponed and armored guys came marching out. Under his breath Steel sighed and said in a hushed, annoyed tone "Great, Now they bring out the big guys thinking im some resurrected revenge craving badass. At least we'll be remembered." Just then an Elite Guard came rushing at him knocking him off his feet. Slightly dazed he got back up only to be joined by Eclipsed. "Need a Hoof Steel." He then nodded and they began double teaming the elite which seemed to be working. Steel then got an Idea. "PAIR UP, DON'T LET THEM OVERWHELM YOU!" they continued battling until only two of the Elites were left standing.
"Theres only one at the back, he's about 20 yards away and has a sword. The rest went to get the Elites." Reported Ruby. Blade thought long and hard about this predicament. "$H1T. Steels in trouble. Those brutes are tough." He ended up saying. "Hmmmmm..... Jack do as I say." Blade said. "I'm going to go talk to the guard. I want you to sneak behind him and slit his throat. Got it?" Blade pressed the last question onto him. "Y-y-yes." Jack stuttered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Hello Mr. Guard. How are you doing because I feel really good myself. Like super duper good. Like I'm on a sugar high, but I haven't had any sugar at all! It just feel so awesome and.... I'm sorry what was your name?" Blade said extremely fast. "My name is Edwar......" He was interrupted as a knife slid into his neck. "More like Deadward." Jack snorted as he turned around and took in the scene. "Here Leroy." Blade said as he tossed him the dead guard's sword and armor. "Go help Steel. He might need the extra reinforcement and you're obviously the strongest out of us. Now Ruby fly up to the top and throw us down the rope so we can climb to the top. This is extremely important so we nee-" "I get it, I get it." Interrupted Ruby hastily. She flew to the top of the tower, attached the rope to a segment of the tower, and threw it done. Blade and Jack were about to climb up when the heard a bloodcurdling scream from above.
"Anybody else here that." Scarlet said confused as she spotted Leroy running towards him trying to put on some Armour simultaneously. "Leeroy, its good he sent you. Pair up with moonshine. we've got more coming." The guards then returned noticing Steel talk to this large muscular pony and the collection of dead elites surrounding them. Most just slowly dropped their weapons with hooves above their heads. "WE surrender. We can not fight revived night guards. May Queen Celestia have our heads for this" Steel and the rest of Team bravo then approached them cold and serious smiles on their faces. "Well, Celestia will have to cut it off your corpses then. Serenity time to shine." A bright light shone from Serenity hopes horn and once it dimmed they vanished along with all but two of the guards lives.
(Where did you go? Spooooooky...) Hearing the screaming Jack and Blade redoubled their climbing efforts. Once at the top they could see what had happened. The tower's guards, 2 of them, had badly injured her wing. Thinking fast as all good rogues do in situations like this he started barking an order to Jack. "Quick get her to cover. Get behind that bed and fast!" Jack did as he was told. Blade saw one of the guards reach for his sword, as quick as lightning he threw a shuriken digging deeply into his wrist. The guard dropped to the ground whimpering in pain. "Darn! I left my katana at the base." Blade cursed as he drew out his non-poisoned kunai. Blade and the guard started circling each other. "Always go forward when you have a shorter weapon." He whispered to himself. He darted towards the guard's abdomen but the guard saw it coming and lunged at Blade. He tried to spin out of the way but wasn't fast enough and thus suffered a minor wound to his stomach. Blade saw an opening in the guard's defenses. He was slow in reaction. Blade feinted a slash and when the guard fell for it stabbed him in the neck. The body dropped lifeless to the ground. Blade went over to the guard laying on the floor. He hit him in the head with the blunt side of the kunai, thus rendering him unconscious and removed his shuriken from the body.
The group was now at the bottom of the dungeon tower facing a flight of stairs. After 10 minutes of walking they reached the top faced with a reinforced door. "Leroy, you know what to do." just then the door was blown off its hinges after Leroy shoulder barged it open. "Great work. Now wheres the princess." They walked around the curving hallway before spotting Sapphire and his team. "Sapphire are you ready. I have a feeling Luna is in the cell with the magic runes etched in it over there."
"I'm ready, but for some reason Jack and I can't use our magic. Here's one of her guards. Knocked him out so you can question him if you want." He said with a shrug.
"Okay 3,2,1" the Dirk broke through the wood with ease and then he pushed the door open. From Luna's point of view they were black silhouettes in front of a shining light. Steel approached Luna still in his replica night guard armor. "Luna, we are here to free you. If you grant us your support we can end Celestia and her ever growing tyranny. a new dawn will lead us a republic, a new lunar republic." He then gestured for Sapphire and Ruby to free her from her wing, horn and hoof shackles.
"Meh Lady." Blade said bowing as he grabbed his lockpicks from his bag (You probably did this unintentionally but if you refer to the sheet one of Blades special talents is lock picking ) and started working the locks that Ruby was gingerly holding for him. Applying the tension wrench where the key would go and raking the top of the hole with an s-rake lock pick. "There. Your shackles have been removed. Now please won't you join us. Celestia is a tyrant, and you barely receive a fifth of the appreciation you should. The night is a beautiful thing!" Explained Blade.
