Within the wide realm of Equestria, not too far from Ponyville, there is a dark place, known only as the Black Forest. There have been a great deal of mysterious disappearances happening in the mysterious forest, and most ponies are too afraid to even enter the area. At first glance, the forest seems to be normal, but if one pays enough attention, it can be seen that the evergreens of the area do not have green leaves, but rather black leaves instead, hence the name. Rumors have flown around the ominous woods, rumors of a tall colt, always with somewhat different depictions, but always extremely tall and thin, with a pure white coat, a white dress-shirt, and a black suit and tie, but most significantly, lacking of a face. Those who have witnessed the disturbing apparition call him the Slenderpony.
