So ever since I became a Brony I've been looking for new ways to include myself in the community. I joined this forum, I decided to attend Bronycon this year, and I'm still looking to expand my involvement. What are some things you have done to become more involved? I know deviant art, Equestria Daily, and YouTube are rich with MLP fans. What are some of your experiences?:Boo:
I have a facebook account with over 3,800 brony friends and I'm part of around 50 or so groups. I may not know the majority of them, but it's fun to sign on and have someone new chat with me every time. Other than that, I'm sometimes involved in trading merchandise(mostly MLP trading cards)
I have a Fimfiction.net account full of fan fiction crossover stories except I go by my old username on here (dbzponyninja) on there and visit Everypony.com, Youtube and Equestria Daily.com multiple times a day
I pretty much just lurk around on Pony websites, sometimes updating my stories on FimFiction. I also have my Youtube account, which has a couple of videos. Other than that, I don't really do much of anything else. I just like to chat with other bronies and watch the show from time to time.
I go on EP mostly. I used to do a lot of pony art that I posted on here and on dA, but I moved on to practicing realism so I haven't uploaded anything pony in ages. Except for today. :3 I also might be attending Bronycon this year. Dunno if I really wanna spend the money though as I'm already going to the NY Comic Con a couple months later.
I used to do funny DBZ dubs. I was thinking about doing some for MLP. I thought it might be a cool idea. Who knows, they might become a hit. I doubt it though.
I buy MLP merch (so far 2 out of 6 Vinyls: Rainbow Dash & Fluttershy), I post here and Bronyville when I am in a decent enough mood, I have been using my Rainbow Dash avatar since Mid-December 2012 and won't change it until 2014. Watch a lot of YT fanmades, talk MLP a lot, I rarely watch the actual show. Made a few Brony friends, turn some of my friends into Bronies (especially my best friend K-9). Why don't you combine them as someone who's been a fan of DBZ for eleven years I would really enjoy that.
Combine them? Hmm I never thought of that. I know people combine like team fortress with mlp. But I've never seen a DBZ-MLP combination. It's a cool idea, but what could I do. I don't do animation or anything like that
Well thanks for the encouraging words. Il think of something. I always do. I am currently working on a remake of billy Joel's "We Didn't start the Fire" with MLP reference. I'm gonna rewrite the lyrics over the instrumental where the song is about all the important events of the three seasons. Who is familiar with the song?
I tend to follow some artists on dA, Soundcloud, YouTube (usually due to their style, or following a comic series). On tumblr I follow some of the ask blogs (ex: Moonstuck, Ask Trolltavia). EQD for various artsy things. I'd say I used to read a few fanfics here and there, but I usually lose the motivation due to how time consuming writing in general is and haven't even finished reading one of my favorites. (This is mostly due to a lot of white noise in the room of my desktop.) There's quite a variety of ways to be more involved, or rather, see more of the fandom. There's a little bit of something for everyone: art, music, writing, comics, PMVs and even animation stuff.

I've felt the same but I'm not an artist or a musician but I'm a writer so I went to EQD and I don't really like that sight oddly enough but I got directed from there over the fimfiction.net and I set up and account there and I've had some really good experiences and some bad ones there, but mainly good.
