"Um, Hello?" Discord called out, looking at the rocky formation in front of him; it was honeycombed with tunnels, and he could half see dark shapes moving around within. A Changeling Hive, or the entrance at least... "I come in peace! Take me to your leader!" He cried out, waving a white flag.
The chanelings didn't have any idea what the deal was with the quarkyness but they did allow Discord to see their leader. Chrysalis was doing her rounds of the hive and watched as they all did their work. She make he last stop at a new annex to the hive. She sees it coming along nicely. "Keep it up, I don't want to see any slouching, or else! You all here me!" The changlings nod, understanding as they continued to work.
"Ahem. Queen Chrysalis, I presume?" Discord said, approaching the Changeling Queen. He had a feeling convincing her to help might not be easy...
Chrysalis turns to the one addressing her. "Well, Well, what is the Lord of all Chaos doing in my hive? Lost or something?" She asks almost in a way that would seem cold. She obviously was in no mood for jokes with the work being done on the hive.
"Actually, I um, I need your help." Discord said, reluctantly. He was not used to asking for assistance, but he knew even he couldn't handle this situation alone. "There is a problem. A big one. I don't suppose you've been out recently?"
Chrysalis rolls her eyes. "What is this 'problem'?" She says with a sound of disinterest. What ever it was, it probably will be a waste of time. Not like she cared what happened outside her hive anyway.
"Well, long story short, things are getting horribly organized in Equestia." He wrinkled his nose in distaste at the thought. "Celestia seems to have taken a radical new approach to leadership."
Chrysalis then sighs and scoffs. "And it's my problem why?" She says in a dismissive manor. It was then a changeling falls near her feet and shakes his head before flying back up. (Random falling changeling to break the tension~ lol)
Discord watched the changeling flying back to continue it's work. "You changelings feed on love, correct? Well there may be something of a famine coming, and you all look skinny enough as it is." He chuckled to himself. "I can't say it bothers me much, but Equestria is becoming a rather loveless place. Apparently it is no longer necessary."
"Well, that does pose a problem... I suppose I could help fix things. Though I don't know how my power will help any." Chrysalis says, letting the weight joke slide for now. She has more important things to worry about anyway~
"The reason for the problem seems to be a spell Twilight came up with; Celestia used it, and no it's affecting all the ponies, but not non-ponies. You and your changelings are pretty much the only ones who can help me at this point. It will involve taking down Celestia..."
Her ears perked up. She couldn't of smiled any wider if she could try. "Well, that does change some things~ I'll get preparations ready~" She says with some odd and disturbing glee.
Discord grinned. "I thought that might pique your interest. I'll wait here; don't be too long." He conjured up an armchair and sat down.
Chrysalis prepare some specail things that will make Celestia wish she never met the Changeling Queen. She then returns to Discord before too long. She looked to be ready and she had a evil plotting face, like she already was ready to drop Celestia.
"Looks like I should have opened with Celestia's necessary toppling eh?" Discord chuckled and conjured up a map. "Now, as I said; this spell seems to be affecting all ponies, so we can't just go after Celestia straight away; we'd be tackled by everypony in Equestria, and whilst that would certainly result in a very impressive ponypile, I don't think it would help us much." As he said this, a tiny Discord stood on the map next to Canterlot and shook his head. "What I suggest is we head for Ponyville; reintroduce some chaos, and deal with Twilight and Fluttershy, and those four other ponies that always follow them around." The little Discord walked across the map to Ponyville and cheered.
"Hmmm. It would make sense to start small and work up to little miss sunbut herself. I've taken into account the the magic emissions too. While I don't think sunbut's magic will affect us much, I've outfitted myself and some of my changelings with magically enhanced armor to resist any mental or physical magic attacks if it comes to that." Chrysalis says with a joyful smile. She seems to be rather prepared for something such as this. Maybe she expecting something similar to the sort.
Discord blinked. "I see why Twilight suggested you... I admit; I had my doubts about coming to you, but you seem to be more prepared than I am! This may actually work..."
Chrysalis was not find of the name mentioned but she would have to suck it up. "Well I think she may have a reason then for having you find me. She knows first hoof what some of my magic can do. Though, while I dought I was the first pony she would suggest, I maybe the only other one to help stop Sunbut, since I have been successful in the past." She says, obvious referring to the magic duel between her and Celestia during the wedding incident.
"You stopped Celestia before? How?" Discord asked, surprised; He had been encased in stone during the changeling attack on Canterlot, and neither Celestia nor Twilight seemed willing to tell him about it.
"Well more or less it had to do with the large amounts of love I absorbed from Twilight's dimwitted brother. I brainwashed him and posed as Princess Cadence. The thing was, the day I dropped Celestia was the day Cadence and Shining Armor were to be married. It was perfect time to strike. Due to the high levels of love fueling my changeling magic, the Magic Duel between me and Celestia was rather short. I was the victor and it felt so good. If Twilight didn't meddle so much, I would of had all of Equestria in my clutches. " She sighs. "But that's old news now..."
