So I found this today. It has some mild language and stuff in it, but it speaks the truth. Watch it. You could learn something about things.
So, it's basically explaining that the economy across America the world is being destroyed because of bankers. Although, you can perform a lot of dirty tricks with many forms of capitalism. Not least of which America's near-lassez-faire style. I support capitalism, but it needs to be sorted out.
See, our system really ticks me off. Here in America, the worst part is people think they've got this great deal that nobody else has, but really they're stuck trying to pay their way forward in a system built by people who don't really care about them.
I finished watching the whole thing, like the boss I am. And it does apply to many countries. Loleurope.
I'm just waiting for this Country's people to rise up to take back what was once theirs. Which could happen very soon if predictable of happening. The Rich have us on the edge and will push us off the cliff if they are given the chance.
I don't think it's so much a country's problem as it is the world's problem, the problem lies in the nature of money, it simply doesn't work. As long as money exists so will all the problems that come with it. We would need the whole world to "...take back what was once theirs." That's not to say it can't start in one country though. As for the video, I'm not sure I really liked it, personally I don't think they explained it as well as they could have. Love this thread btw, money is easily one of my favourite topics.
It is becoming more popular isn't it, I remember 2-3 years ago you would barely hear a peep about it. Can't agree more. I just think it's crazy to believe we can't live without money personally.
Son, of, a, *****. Thanks for posting this. It finally answered several questions I have had for a long time.
Capitalism, while not perfect, is pretty rad. It's been working for better than socialism anyway. Not to mention we became a world superpower in less than 200 years. I'm pretty sure the Roman, Greek and Eygptian empires took way longer. Democracy probably helped but I'm not an expert. As far as the system being sustainable or not, every system is unsustainable. Every empire that has ever existed has collapsed. Ours will too in time. The problem is that the systems are created by humans, and run by humans, who are both flawed and corrupt. We are the makers of our own demise. Anyway, after a couple years, maybe a decade, we (the world) will recover and then people can stop complaining about the economy and go back to complaining about....everything else.
Sometimes I think we should just do Civil War to get rid of the corrupt administrations that rely on these said Red Shield bankers. It wouldn't solve much on the European front, but if we can't get rid of these guys, we're kinda screwed.
Not quite. The problem is a human problem. Many people say "money is the root of all evil." Actually the complete quote is "The love of money is the root of all evil." What is the root of all evil? What is the love of money? GREED. Think about it. You can be greedy for anything. If you love money do you love the actual paper notes and coins, or do you love all the things money can get you? Comfort, security, and even people?
While i knew parts of all this stuff, finding out how it all connected was eye opening(espeacially the england bit) but to comment on the bit of people replacing them, i can honestly say i would take it, as that level of power is like a delicous feast
Was that you who sent that to me? Or vise versa? I think this video should be required for every economics class. xP Butthole, I missed the whole other page. My point has always been a simple one. Too many ignorant people who are comfortable. Keep them comfortable and happy, and they aren't going to do anything. It'll take a whole lot more than a youtube movie to motivate anyone to do anything. Especially in America. Especially in the southern portion of America. Civil War? Good luck. :I
