Basically, a space ship heading towards a merchant planet crashes on an abandoned colony planet. The few survivors stubble onto the planet and must survive the harsh planet while learning about the fate of the old colonies. Feel free to suggest anything that you believe could improve this idea.
sounds interesting, but I'd recommend them having the intent of visiting the planet to research the missing colony. has more options for people to be prepared to survive than a merchant ship, which would have little to no survival skill or tools. they should still crash, but thats just my opinion i guess.
Well, the idea is that the disasters that wiped out the colonies was kept a secret by the Universal Government to avoid panic. The ship crashing there is simply just a coincidence.
its just an opinion. maybe an interstellar pirate ship, or a mercenary vessel. just suggestions, and my opinion stands, but I'm still interested in the original idea all the same.
