Rainbow Dash was never much a fan of Canterlot. It was too quiet, too ordinary, and the ponies were far too froufrou. The light-blue pegasus kept up a casual trot along the streets, heading for the castle. As she understood it, the princess needed someone to save the day once again, and she was always up for an adventure--even if not all of her best friends could make the journey with her. Standing out from the subtle smirk she wore and the always-determined spark in her eyes were the bandages wrapped neatly around her midsection, binding her wings at her sides. Now and again her wings would twitch beneath the bandages as Rainbow realized the urge to fly, to leave the ground and all of the pretty, self-important ponies below, and every time she would lightly cringe. I still can't believe I crashed... she grumbled in thought, her expression dimming for just a moment. The next moment, a shake of her head served to clear it of doubt, her rainbow-colored mane softly whipping from side to side in turn. That doesn't matter. What matters is that I get these babies working again. But that was to be sorted out at a later time. Looking up, her grin grew a little wider as she gazed upon the palace, moving forward more slowly now as though in respect for what the building stood for. "Have you come to aid the princess?" A pair of royal guards stood at the entrance, both watching Rainbow, though only one had spoken up. Their wings blocked the door. Coming to a halt, Rainbow Dash straightened up, holding her head high. "You bet! I've saved the day before, I can do it again!" In ten seconds flat! With a nod of approval, the guards tucked their wings against their sides, offering a simple, "Proceed." The pegasus briskly nodded in return, trotting forward into the castle lobby to wait for the princess' address.
"Its been awhile..." Twilight had entered canterlot with a sense of joy and worry. Spike the dragon looked at her with a slightly worried expression and said "Whats wrong Twilight?" Twilight looked down at Spike with slightly tense expression. "Well Spike. I am going to see the Princess for another Exam that will be greater that any I have taken before and im just worried." Spike looked at Twilight with a grinn and said " Oh come on Twilight, Everypony knows your the smartest and most organized around, and not to mention your the Princesses star student." Twilight looked at Spike and smiled "Thanks spike i can always count on my number one assistant." they both gave reasuring smiles and both headed for the princesses castle. while they were walking Spike quickly added "Just don't freak out like you did when you didn't write to the princess in a week and went crazy." Twilight Sparkle smiled brightly and said "I don't think that will ever happen again haha." with that final resuring statment said they both confidently headed to the castle. As Twilight and Spike reached the castle and entered in the lobby. Expecting to see the Princess they noticed a friend and yelled for her. "RAINBOW!!!" Twilight galuped to her friend as fast as she could.
Galileo gulped as he looked around. He wasn't one for big cities, and the amount of ponies around here startled him a bit. Folding in his wings, he moved toward the castle. This was his opportunity to make a good impression on some of the most popular ponies in Equestria, and he was terrified. That brush with those jerks on his way to Canterlot made him jumpier than usual. The stars warned him it would happen, but he was still startled about it. They whispered no secrets of what would happen today. Would he make a foal of himself? Nervously, he tiptoed up to the guards. "I'm... I'm here to help... um... Princess Celestria with... um... something," he muttered, pulling the letter she sent him from his saddlebags. The two pegasi folded in their wings and allowed him to pass when they saw the royal seal on the letter. Applejack, on the other hand, was ready to go. "Bayck in Canterlot agin to help the princess. Ah bet Twi and Dash are already at the caystle. I better git a-goin'," she decided, trotting through the streets to the castle. "With any luck I'll get there before Ah miss anythin' serious."
Edge and Pinkie Pie were walking along the road they were both told to come to the castle "Edge edge edge! What do you think the princess wants us!," Pinkie Pie yelled. "Pinkie.. I will tell you once again! I don't know," he sighed, Pinkie looked at him with a frown. "Ok... What I think is that something happened and the Princess need us," he said, Pinkie smiled and started hopping again "Oh yeah.. Pinkie did you bring any food? Im starving," Edge said. "Okie doki loki!," she said, she shoved a cupcake into his mouth and Edge started chewing. "Phanks," Edge said, they got to the castle and Edge noticed Twilight, Spike, and Rainbow Dash was there. "Guys!," Pinkie yelled, she slammed into Rainbow Dash and laughed, Edge walked up to Twilight. "Hey Twilight," Edge said.
Twilight looked at her friends with joy "Hello Edge, Hello Pinkie." Twilight took a moment to look around and notice that the Princess wasn't around at the time. "So guy, what did the Princess call you guys up here for?" Spike butted in and said "Yeah! because the only time Princess Celestia calls anyone up if it urgent or Twilight has do go through and exam that she really OVER studies for or..." Spike notice a slightly iritated look that Twilight was giving him and he grinned "Sorry..heh heh" Twilight look at all of her friends and said "So what do you guys think?" Nova started up the stairs of the castle and was thinking of what the princess could have called him for. "Celestia usually doesn't really sound like this in a letter, i hope nothing is wrong. Nova began to stare at the ground. Nova Walked in noticing Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Edge, Pinkie Pie all in the lobby.
Edge looked at Spike and rolled his eyes and looked at the Nova"Oh hello there!" he said, he walked over to the pony "hello again," he said bowing his head, "what brings you here?,". Pinkie rolled on the ground and noticed Nova she gasped and got up. "Edge!," Pinkie yelled, Edge looked at her and suddenly she was on top of him "Oh dear Celestia," he said gasping for breath. "Hey there Nova!", she grabbed his hoof and shook it roughly, but she was overturned and fell to the ground. "Pinkie! don't ever do that again!," he said, "Argh... my back,"
Nova was a little overwelmed by the exciting welcome by Edge and Pinke. Nova looked around with a slightly confused look and said "Hello everypony, why have we been summoned to the castle for this meeting" Nova said with a noticed Twilight Sparkle was walking towards him with a strongly concerned look. "That's what everypony has been trying to figure out. I got the message from Spike that was addressed from the Princess, and I thought It was because the Princess wanted to give me a test in Cantelot Castle, but when Me and Spike arrived we noticed some of our friend here already so it must be urgent." Nova looked at everypony and said "So Edge, Pinkie, Raindow how did you get you messages from the princess?"
Pinkie got up from the floor "OH! I got my message by a letter! it poofed out of no were like a big POOF," she laughed, "then Edge walked in saying he got a letter and I said like NO WAY! I got the same letter too!,". Edge arched his back and looked at Twilight. "Yeah... Pinkie is right," he said, "I just got a letter and closed down the place went to Pinkie's and we went to the castle and now we are here,". Edge walked to a chair, "and I would like some tea right now... my back hurts,". "Here you go!," Pinkie yelled, suddenly a tea cup came to of nowhere and Edge quickly grabbed it with quick reflexes it looked like it just came to his hoof he sighed in relief and stood back up. "Thanks Pinkie... You could be a little slower next time I barley caught it this time," he sighed, Pinkie looked at him and smiled.
"Yeah, it's gotta be urgent," Rainbow Dash agreed with a nod as she got back onto her hooves, the tackle from Pinkie Pie coming as a surprise--though really, should it have? It was Pinkie Pie. Raising a hoof to her muzzle, the pegasus' gaze traveled upward as she thought the question over. "I saw some notices posted around Ponyville, but...Well, a certain grey pegasus delivered one to me personally." Her home still wasn't fully repaired from the visit. "But she's pretty smart to send for me--...er, us. If something's wrong, we'll figure it out!" she said with a glance to Pinkie Pie, Spike, and Twilight Sparkle in particular. I wonder who else's up to the challenge...
"That same ocurrence of geting my letter happened to me too." said Nova Twilight Sparkle noticed the occurance and was imediantly worried about the situation becuase after all the Princess was her teacher. Twilight looked at everypony with worry and said. "I don't know what to say, It kinda sounds like we got our letters through weird and enigmatic way, I am definatly sure that this an urgent matter." Spike looked at everypony and wanted to lighten the mood "Well Twilight look on the bright side. You don't have to take one of those exams after all." Twilight looked at everypony then closed he eyes and looked at the floor. Nova noticed Twilight and said "Twilight is somthing wrong?" Twilight look at Nova and said "Nothing just a little worried about the Princess." Then Twilight remember the power She and her Best Friends had and it quickly sparked her confidence. Twilight cofidently said "Well Dash, Pinkie. if there are problem's in the order then we should essemble our friends and use the elements of harmony, Because we defeated Night Mare Moon, and Discort with our love and friendship through the elements before."
"I think if everyone could make it they'd already be here," Rainbow Dash pointed out with a raised eyebrow, her rainbow tail flicking dismissively to the side. Of course, she would have liked for everyone to be together, but it wasn't always possible and she accepted that. "And besides, we don't even know what's going on. Last time stuff just...happened. This time a whole proclamation was posted." As far as she knew, Princess Celestia had the Elements of Harmony in her possession once again anyway. If she thought it would solve the problem, then she would give them to the group during their briefing. But if the princess thought it would solve the problem, why wouldn't she just contact Rainbow and her friends immediately? (OOC: And sorry, I didn't want to notice Galileo yet in case you wanted to post him walking into the lobby yourself and all)
(ooc:i havent heard anything from him and we should PM him to tell him if we move his character.) Nova looked at everypony and asked "What exactly are the elements of harmony, i've heard about the once being used in my travels." Twilight looked at Nova and said "they are the 6 element's of friendship and Me, Rainbow, Pinkie, Futtershy, Applejack, and Raity used the to defeat our advisaries in the past, and as Rainbow Dash said the Princess has them again."
Rashall walks up to the entrance of the palace, but the guards will not let him pass. "What is your business here stranger?" asks one of the guards. Rashall smiles to himself a little, "I'm here to see if I can help with whatever is bringing all these ponies here." says Rashall. The guards look at each other and then nod and let him through. As he enters he sees a large group of ponies has already arrived he notices Pinkie, Applejack and Twilight along with Spike. Rashall finds a place just behind the group and leans against one of the pillars closing his eyes in meditation.
Edge looked around to see the doors of the lobby opened and a strange silver pegasus came in, he looked at him and the pony leaned against a pillar. Edge got up from the chair and walked up to him "why hello there," Edge said bowing his head, "who are you supposed to be?". Pinkie lifted her head from the bag of cupcakes and saw that pony who walks around Ponyville from time to time. "Edge!," Pinkie yelled, Edge's face went to calm to a worried face he jumped and landed on the floor and Pinkie landed right were he stood. "Pinkie! You almost landed on me again," Edge yelled. "Hey there I know you! You are from Ponyville and you walk around Ponyville and you look weird why are you so silvery and what is with that mane of yours!," Pinkie said inspecting him.
"Hello there Pinkie Pie and to you as well Edge, my name is Rashall Firemane a pleasure to make your acquaintances." says Rashall without even opening his eyes.
Twilight look at the new visitor with a smile "Hello, i guess your here for the princess meeting to." Spike looked around and said "so how many ponies did the Princess call here." Nova walked up to the new visitor's and said "Hello, im Nova."
"I was never called here instead a friend of mine told me of this gathering." Rashall whistles loud and then low, after which a blue Phoenix flies in and perches atop Rashalls back.
Twilight eye light up as she saw the blue pheonix, she has only sen them in books and was amazed "WOW is that an actual blue pheonix, i have only read about them in books." Twilight said in a excited tone. Nova began to look around and worry a little, all he could think about currently is princess hasn't arrived yet.
"His name is Azure we have been friends for a very long time. Don't worry about the princess Nova she is still probably getting the necessary information for all of you. I'm just here to see if I could be of any use on this expedition." says Rashall finally opening his crystal blue eyes.
