Just wondering if anyone is planning on going to Everfree Northwest this coming year. Tickets are already for sale, and you can start reserving rooms as well. They even have a guest already! So if you've wanted to meet the VA of Gilda, or come and say hi to my elusive self, this is your chance! I'll be carpooling there with a group of bronies, but would love to try and meet anyone from the site who will be out there. I might even interview you! Whoo! You can find the details here.
I'd really like to go but I'm saving up for Bronycon, which I may or may not get to go to anyway. Also I have this thing about planes ... most would call it a fear I call it a reasonable doubt and there's no way I could drive from Indiana to Washington. At any rate, hope all the attendees have a wonderful time ^^ I think it's really nice that entry is free for children 12 and under. I'm sure the parents will like that.
I'll try and be there Soul. The only big problem is that I don't know how I'll get up there. I might have to find someone else in my community that's going up there too, and hopefully that will happen. If not, I might have to find a bus going up. It'll be worth it though :3
If anyone's heading down from Bellingham, I plan on going. I don't know if I'm going to try to split a room at the hotel yet or if I'm gonna stay at my great aunt's in Kent yet though. Is that 50 bux for the whole weekend or is that a day thing. whats the diff between attendee, patron and sponsor anyway? Hope some of you play Magic, I'm just getting back into it after a long hiatus and will be bringing my deck for sure!
Attendee simply means that you're there to attend the event. You'll do what most normally do at conventions. You'll check out panels, stalls, and others of the like. Patron and sponsor both are basically defined as someone who gives support (in this case financial) to, in this case an organization. You'll probably receive perks in registering as these as opposed to attendee. The more support you give the better the perks (I'm guessing). So if you go with sponsor you'll more than likely get VIP treatment. I'm not sure though, just my best guess.
Yeah, it's $50 to be there the entire weekend as an attendee. Nights is correct about the Patron and Sponsor levels. Not sure if they're changing it this year, but if I recall correctly from last year, Patrons got some extra freebies in the way of merch. Sponsors got access to a special VIP room, could hang backstage with the musicians during Ponystock, and I think were able to jump lines for panels and events. As I said though, not sure if they're changing that this year. I'm sure they'll define what each level is.
